    Keep Ronny and get rid of Mulgrew,Commons,Macgregor etc.,.

    Peter Lawell may take out a bigger renumeration than any players on the field at present but was it not a similar situation circa 1967 when the highest earners at the club either had Kelly or White as a surname

    Thought Scott Allan was good GMS waste of space at that level had chances 2nd half and no one takes corners like that with a win needed.. not Deila no one in charge on the pitch at that time

    Include Griffiths in that too. They are second rate at best. We have no structure to our recruitment policy. Seems to me sometimes the committee listen to superscoreboard. It’s a shambles.

     

     

    Of course. A lot of our support just support. I’m the same at the games. But in the cold light of day, we are Fkn terrible. We have regressed year after year for a long time now.

    the board are banking on us being brainwashed……….and we are……..Ronnie…unfortunately hasn’t got it……makeshift team or not there were far too many rudimentary mistakes…….as is always the case……….I watched the game on tv…..(obviously not a true supporter) but, when watching in the pub, McGregors goal apart, the ONLY other highlight of Celtics performance was Allan’s sublime pass, then something is OBVIOUSLY amiss. Not David Moyes? I think we would all agree he would definetly have done better. The missing pieces are so obvious. I have talked to various mambers of the ’67 team and the Quality St Kids over the years and the one common denominator of that era was that Big Jock not only employed at least one “bully” in his teams, he dropped anyone who allowed themselves to be bullied off the ball. We were bullied off the ball ALL night tonight……just like most games over the past season and a half…..Ronnie just ain’t got it………put all your defenders up for a corner then play it short…..you can blame the players but….Ronnie should have a game plan that all the team should follow……are the team just doing what they want? …..if so Ronnie ain’t no leader……..the game tonight was dross as far as Celtic is concerned…..ex Celtic players must be embarrassed, even if the present team aren’t…….embarrassing…..2 points…….Ronnie, please please do us all a favour…..

    Well Ronny is talking about preparing for next seasons CL. Still to win the SPFL and then, hopefully qualify !

     

     

    But putting that aside for the minute, can’t wait for all those get em in early signings in January………..

     

     

    Then that wonderful technique, we’ve developed of signing players after we get knocked out of the CL.

    The happy clappers are today’s version of the MSM during the 90s, distorting the truth to Celtic’s detriment.

     

     

    Didn’t see the Mulgrew incident but what he is supposed to have done doesn’t surprise me in the slightest. Scottish players just don’t have the right mental attitude and haven’t had it for decades. These players are to blame for the death of Scottish football, why would people pay good money to watch players not try their best on and OFF the pitch?

     

     

    The most important part if off the pitch and I’m convinced Scottish players, off the pitch, do what Mulgrew did on the pitch, day-in, day-out.

     

     

    That’s why they’re weak mentally.

     

     

    You only need to look at the Germans and the Spanish to see that these guys train harder off the pitch than Scottish players do.

    Lots of effort tonight but too many players not good enough. Armstrong is a poor passer who continually gives the ball away. GMS is powder puff. D utd their level I’m afraid. Stupid corner by Armstrong…..all our big guys waiting in the box and he decides on a poor pass to Allan, who I rate highly and will be good enough in short time.

    I don’t think they do, maybe when they are driving their big bastard cars around glasgow but scottish footballers seem to have an inferiority complex as soon as they step out of the spl. I’d love a squad full of players who think they can match barcelona, instead of being dazzled by the skills of malmo and molde

    Griffiths should be cut some slack… He’s carried the teams most of the season – he will score goals.

     

    Question we have been asking is what if he’s injured or plays at tinker? We had no alternative.

     

     

    I’d love Lawwell to come out and explain.

     

     

    Ronny should go but he’s a symptom of what’s wrong but not the source.

     

     

    Scott Allan cost us the 2nd goal. He’s got great vision / touch but he’s way to slow.

    You are hairsplitting now….what does the performance matter in any of those games….Molde, Malmo, Ajax…we lost in all of them.

     

    They may have been slightly better tonight…but really, does it matter.

     

    We have been dire in Europe…..that’s the reality.

    On TV it looked like he ran, jog maybe, but it wasn’t a walk.

     

     

    They even highlighted it on the TV, we watched waiting for him to pull up or show some strain, but while Ajax players were celebrating you see all the Celtic players in the middle and then Mulgrew running to the tunnel.

    He also had a pop at McGregor and Armstrong’s post match comments about “learning curves”

     

     

    Chris was on one kept mentioning “we” when talking about Celtic.

    And yet the mineshafter view is much more in line with the modern MSM. Uncle Shug, Jangles Jackson, Tom English et al will be writing for a willing readership that Celtic must buy big and speculate to accumulate just like the old Rangers under Murray did.

     

     

    If your views are the same as theirs, when did they evolve to become such big fans of Celtic doing the right thing?

     

     

    Big Jock did not spend big to create the Lisbon Lions (he had good raw materials though).

     

     

    We started with 7 Scots players (a huge contrast to the MON and WGS eras) and had 8 Scots on the field at one point. This is not a Golden generation of Scots but, if our fans are going to have a connect we need to maintain a good core of home grown players.

    Charlie boy made a tackle and a pass in the first 2 minutes or so he was on…….he then strolled around the park without breaking sweat because he was obviously UNFIT…..question is….what arsehole thought it would be a good idea to put him on in the first place? A 70 year old John Clark would have done better……..anyone disagree…….Ronnie……..you did your best but I’m out
