    I am not sure we will be in the CL, hellish way to get in there from where we are, Right here, Right Now.

     

     

    We have no Big Time Sellable assets currently, Nir if he gets back to his best yeah but he has been Long Termed – so I’m not going to be cynical about things for once. ;)) I think Ronny will like that.

     

     

    Nir cemented his place when?

     

     

    Ronnys Bhoys will eventually come to the fore, IMO.

     

     

    The Board have brought Ronny in at this Time for a reason, and btw, I know nothing about the ins and outs of Celtic, this is all just my random thoughts on a blog.

    charlie mulgrew : amazing that at least two posters have come on earlier and said they saw charlie run off the pitch, I’m afraid their eyes deceived them , if anybody has recorded the game go back to 89 minutes and about 29 secs, you’ll see the tv cuts to a replay of charlie going off.. walking all the way from near the middle of the park to the sidelines. Sutty doesn’t like him going off as he says ‘could he not stand up top rather than go down to ten men’ but states clearly it’s an injury. Why do people rush to hate on a guy that gives his all for Celtic even if he’s not a top player, just don’t get the need to judge without any facts.

    Ronny had his Bhoys playing defensively in the First Half once they got that first goal, or Maybe Ajax forced them to. ;)))))

     

     

    I found the game fascinating.

     

     

    It wasn’t the Greatest ever game but it was most enjoyable, up until they scored that winner.

     

     

    It was Excellent to see Ajax flood the forward line with 4 attackers and 3 mids, right behind…………..

     

     

    I guess that was what fitba was back in the Golden days…..

     

     

    We were unlucky tonight.

    Before I head off upstairs to bed I would like to pose a question.

     

    Where do we go from here?

     

    A rebuild using the youngsters we have on our books?

     

    Or adding a couple of well tried expensive names alongside the existing squad?

     

    Either way I think the likes of Stokes, Mulgrew and sadly Kris Commons should no longer figure in our future plans.

     

    I also fear Nir will be sold, probably in the summer.

     

    So we have to rebuild around Brown, Johansen and Armstrong.

     

    Not a bad core.

     

    Let’s use the next few months to see if Rogic, Allan, Christie, GMS and Henderson can make the leap to Europen class just as young Tierney seems to have done.

     

    Is their anyone else ready to grasp this opportunity?

     

    Unfortunately I believe Calum may have hit the glass ceiling.

    Totally agree……enjoyed the game and the effort put in by the players. We lost, but I was gutted after the Molde games because of lack of effort. The boys worked hard tonight, I can accept it.

     

     

    Ronny D’s future is simple…he has to win league, one cup and make CL next year.

     

    John Collins had it correct…..the main problem is level of Scottish fitba.
