  1. I knew we would have all the lunatics on after a defeat.I just ignore them now.Daily Record readers.

No chance of any of them looking at any good points. Not at all.Spit the dummy, sack the manager. It was RDs fault that wee Leigh had a nightmare. Not picking on the wee man, just an example. This Euro campaign has been a nightmare, not just on the park.New signings in defence, trying to gel, then injured.Top midfield players out injured,at vital times. One to forget.

It seems the Treble is no longer good enough for any of the halfwits purporting to be Celtic fans.Well fek them.It will be good enough for me.When we go into Europe with a settled team, who have played together for a decent period of time,I will expect better.Right now, thats what the manager will be striving for.

Personally,I would expect him to now build on Tierney,Simunovic,Boyatta,Broony,Biton, and hopefully Allan,as the playmaker.LG up front with Cole.Janko must get a chance at RB.Christie to come in as well.

But thats only my hope.I will be buzzing once again on Sunday waiting to see the Hoops take the field.

    Always have,always will.

  2. Why did Rangers need the loan in the first place?

Why are Rangers leaking 10million a year?

At least our custodonisns aren’t half as delusional as King.

  3. HERBO on 27TH NOVEMBER 2015 11:33 AM

Your not ever gonna progress in Europe if you pin your hopes on Leigh Griffiths. No harm to the guy but he’s still Leigh Griffiths.

He wouldn’t get a game before Andy Payton. That’s where we are in our PLC boards ambition Im afraid.

    Unadulterated crap.Every bit of it.

  4. Went to match with a Dutch friend, big Ajax fan. Both enjoyed the game, refreshing to see two teams setting out to win the game, decent football from both sides.

Ajax had the better possession but we had by far the better chances. Cannot remember Gordon being tested outside of goals / last 5 mins.

Met Ajax team in Hotel after game, they are mainly kids, a necessity for them given financial mismatch. Our outfield players average age last night was 23, we may need to go lower. Tierney has not looked out of place since being given his opportunity, immaculate again last night. We should use rest of season to blood another 3,4 kids in our home league matches.

More positives than negatives for me last night. Tierney, Siminuvic, Forrest, McGregor and even Boyata all emerged with credit. Scott Allan will learn from his cameo, I like his willingness to take responsibility.

No disgrace in losing last night, felt proud of team that was on the park.

If we win 5 out of 6 domestic trophies (good chance IMO) what spoilt brats we will look if we scream for Ronny’s head.

The media now judge Ronny only in Europe because the buns urney in our league, though they were in both cups! Why do we dance to their tune.

Many thanks for some sanity on here.

  6. Turkeybhoy,

I take Umbridge to being called a halwit etc etc from your post… But to be called a Daily Record reader man that hurts.

How long do you give Deila,? If he fails again to qualify for another champions league?

A treble is not a measure of success. The money available to improve Celtic in Europe is exponentially far in excess of any local reimbursement for rocking up with our massive financial advantage.

That massive financial advantage will soon have the legs cut off when there is no European league football and 25k fans at Celtic Park.

  7. BT

Hope you and the other members of your group are OK .

I’ve emailed Police Scotland regarding last night’s attacks on several pubs in the Gallowgate , will let you know if I get a response .

  8. 67Heaven .. CHALLENGING THE LIE ..I am wee Oscar...... Ipox belongs to the creditors on

Haven’t read back since I don’t want to be TOO depressed about last night ….. to be fair, we were severely impacted by injuries and suspensions, but that should not have affected our ability to complete simple passes and score simple goals ……hey, ho ….onwards and upwards ….after all, It could be far worse, I could be a current bhun…… :)

  9. Don’t hold your breath for a statement from Celtic PLC as 50 handed 020 cnts where allowed to stroll into the GG to cause havoc.

They were not hard to spot.

    Protect and Serve Eh?

  10. the glorious balance sheet on

It seems that having concerns about being pumped red rotten by Malmo molde Maribor and Legia Warsaw etc makes you a lunatic or a daily record reader.

    Turkey Bhoy

You will be waiting a very long time for us to go into Europe with a settled team. Injuries can’t be helped, every team gets them, look at barca soldiering on without messi.

However the annual influx of dross on loan and deadline day signings made after the horse has bolted, mean we never have a settled team even by October.

By which point the guts – and in years to come all – of our European football has been played.

  11. The usual subjects out in force talking about RDs future. The Herald,The Times,The Record.

Never heard a word when the Huns under some of their “Great managers”(Courtesy of same rags)had a Euro record to be totally ashamed of.Something like two wins in 20 games.

Obviously they are scouring blogs like this, reading the spoilt brats on them, and gleefully sinking the boot in.

  12. To me Ronny is well out of his depth just like that other successful Norwegian manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was at Cardiff. As for Davie Moyes ,whoever was going to succeed Ferguson was bound to fail.Moyes is a manager with a reputation to rebuild and this could be to our advantage. Its been said the football he plays is dull as an argument against him,its not as if we’ve been watching scintillating football since Ronnys appointment.

  13. Better performance than I was expecting with the players we had missing , poor ball control cost us the first goal and poor decision making ( short corner / no cover ) cost us the second when we were chasing the win .

Fairly young team lacking experience at this level , I know its the same for Ajax but they are playing at a higher level week in week out .

Changes needed in recruitment strategy , some more experience needed to play alongside the young team so to speak .

Haven’t read back BT, did you get caught up in the attack on the GG pubs? The polis were too busy arresting wee bhoys for singing in Belgrove Station or they’d have been all over that.

  15. GLASSTWOTHIRDSFULL @ 11:25 AM,

“I think the disappointments in Europe have been more down to individual errors than poor tactics.

As for Mourinho – if you look at results he should be gone:-)

Well, yes and yes… Mourinho has been quite funny this Season I’ll admit but he has a track record.

To be fair, he was probably a bad choice, I wouldn’t want to see anyone as cynical as him at Celtic Park, I was using him as he is the antithesis of Ronny. Ronny has many qualities as a man I don’t see in the special one.

So – Many of the goals have been down to individual errors it’s true, you can say Ronny’s been unlucky, you can say what if Leigh had his shooting boots on?

For me there is far too much of it to being just down to luck, I used the Scott Allen “error” as an example earlier.

We were up in the games against Ajax twice, did you ever get the feeling that’s great, we can hold on to this and build on it, I did in Amsterdam, but at Celtic Park I didn’t, there was an unfortunate feeling of here we go as the Fenerbache goals went in and Ajax grabbed the winner.

But for me it wasn’t really about last night, quality/result apart I enjoyed the game.

It is how do we get from here to being competitive for our next European Campaign.

A HUGE ask is it not?

    Hail Hail

  16. You would think, that after being humped in Europe so many times, RD would learn something.

I cannot for the life of me understand why people are defending RD….he is not good enough, it is as simple as that.

    He should resign.

Now….if you want to persevere with RD…..Id say, you can forget about playing well in Europe.

How many times do we need to get pumped before the penny drops.

You accept s*** football…..and PL and cronies will serve up as much as you want.

It is getting embarrassing….we are now a laughing stock in European Football

Put an end to this now.

No way do I want RD leading us into the CL next season….because he is clueless, and has proved that he is clueless repeatedly.

I wont pay through the nose to watch that….If the PLC wont invest properly in the team, why the flying feck should anybody else.

New article but being a pacifist or a shitebg I held my older brother back

We where at the door in emerald bar when scum came in and attached us

My nephew and his pl up from Liverpool for the match and one of them has the scars to show it

But or scum police tried to arrest my nephew and brother

Thankfully I had my sensible head on and moved them across to barrow land

We went into Lynche bar and johns fighter told us police advised her that if anyoneleft th pub they pub thet would be arrested for inciting a riot

  18. CultsBhoy can not relate to Celtic Board ambitions on or off the park on

Anyone under the delusion that a change of Manager, CEO, ‘Owner’ Striker, centre half will change our fortunes isn’t thinking this through.

We need a change of direction , no point retaining our hit n hope buy low sell high fiasco of a strategy and changing personnel to be saves tonthis flawed approach.

By all means put anyone who can not get with the new approach of building a team, retaining and rewarding better talent and seriously investing in attracting the support back in. We have a 60,000 seater stadium. Our aim should be to fill it.

That’s what we should be about,

If Lawwell is such s gifted CEO he should be able to lead a rethink and a change in policy – that’s his job. If he can’t them let’s bring someone in who can transform our club. The foundation stones are there – low debt, great stadium , great fans , great reputation and even some very good players. Time to rethink and rebuild.
