Last night? Obviously disappointed in the end result but given how I felt before kick off with the team that had been chosen I was pretty pleased with a performance which, at the 88th minute had us up for a corner “to win the match”. How quickly hope turned to tears.
When we got a hold of the ball last night we moved forward far quicker than of late – tactical or simply because of the different players we had in there?
The team showed the best attitude in all of their European games this season. But it wasn’t enough.
Turkey was always going to be a very tough ask. But it would have been good to still have had hope in our hearts, not to mention sleepless nights for 2 weeks.
So, just The Trebel then…
Be nice.

Listening to Ronny, it is obvious he is under pressure, however he sounds to me like he is whistling in the dark.
I like the guy but I’m afraid the experiment looks over, the steam has run out.

David Moyes would be my choice, however I just cannot see him coming back to Scotland. Football, indeed sport in Scotland, is ‘circling the drain’.

Well after 4 atrocious euro campaigns, I’ve lost faith in Ronny. Two wins in 13 in the europa league. I believe someone else would have had us in the CL twice, such was the mediocrity of the opposition we faced.
SPFL provides near amateur level opposition.

It is a policy that was made from on high, it’s the same policy that the majority of foreign clubs use, players are brought in for the coach to coach,
It’s a good policy if the right players are brought in, it’s pish if the wrong players are brought in.
I personally think it’s the right way to go, but the policy needs tweeking more than a tad.
