To be fair to the Ajax player, I think he jumped out of the way, and didn’t make a big thing of it.
As you say, there was only two minutes to go, and IMO Biton showed his inexperience by putting in a needless, and wreckless tackle, and the ref was only applying the laws of the game.
If the boot had been on the other foot , we’d have been screaming for a red. Just my opinion.

If we can win in Amsterdam and Barcelona win at home to Milan, it sets us up nicely for Milan at home.
Celtic on 6 points; Milan on 5.
It would mean a victory puts us into the last 16 with a game to spare.
We weren’t lucky, the big Goalie made some good saves, not misses, saves, difference.
We took the chance we made, Ajax didn’t, small differences at this level.

Cheers !
Amazing atmosphere yet again- Celtic Park on nights to life is a life enhancing place.
Thought Efe, Izzy, Beram and Charlie Mulgrew were fantastic . SammI was a bit frustrating but boy the guy can play. Pukki worked hard but sorry I don’t think he’s very good. Yet.
I did think Lenny got his substitutions wrong – but overall this was a fabulous night
why did the rest of the ground decide to….. Finally find a voice with seconds to go and change the polarity??
Sing from the start. Find your voice. Sing, cheer, support and dance like no one is watching and your life depends on it…… That is what the GB do.
And it’s the main reason they have my full backing.
Emilio, Charlie were outstanding.
MOM goes to van diyk, what a find again Mr Lennon…… Up there with Vic

Really pleased with that result tonight, although we rode our luck at times. Which we deserved after the first two games!
Was I the only one incredibly frustrated by Sami tonight? Feckin pass the ball, big man.
The original Izzy and Beram were in attendance tonight and the performances will give them a real boost. We’ll be lucky to see two seasons of Virgil….great bit of scouting there.
Couldn’t believe Sami let young JF take the pen, but he was a Cool Hand Luke!
Just glad that we’re still in contention for third, never mind second place!

I am delighted for James Forrest. I remember in the early days of the season defending him along with Kojo and a few others and he is now living up to his potential. Get behind James and you will see how good he will become. He’s a great talent.

Calmness personified.
I didn’t think we road our luck though, defended well, with the Great Wall behind them.

Had to miss the game tonight and dont have Sky – avoided the result, just watched on ITV – so delighted with the result, but the so called highlights and “analysis”, (which was solely a discussion on Fraser Forsters prospects of playing for Engurland), were abysmal – no discussion of the game from the panel – its a pathetic excuse of a highlights programme.
