    My man of the match was Ryan Christie for the pass to James at our first goal. Great to see one of our players show some great vision and passing abilty. . Ryan also worked hard and showed some great footwork a few minutes after coming on to get away from two Alloa players.

     

     

    My big gripe tonight was the number of times some our players would not use their weak foot to have a shot at goal when in the Alloa box. Fair play to James for using his left foot to score our first goal.

     

     

     

    Munchengladbach drew 1 1 with Red Bull Leipzig , Barca had the same score v Atletico and Man City (wearing a horrific away strip) beat Swansea 2 1 tonight.

    There used to be a priests college there (ST.Josephs) a few years ago. The locals loved that! Some good fishing around the village. Other than that,Rotten Masonic hole.

    I did really enjoy my night because the band was good and I was there with a mate I wish I saw more but I did feel I was going a bit behind enemy lines.

    Watched the highlights there.

     

     

    Definite red for Gordon, in my opinion. Rogic booked for diving should have been a penalty. Defender trod on his foot.

     

     

    Otherwise, looks like a barrel load of missed chances due to wayward shooting and some right good saves.

     

     

    Also watched the interview with the manager. When asked about the Gordon incident, he seemed to refer to completely different situation where a wrong decision by Tierney caused a problem for Gordon. Anyone know what that was about? Obviously at the forefront of Brendan’s mind and perhaps an indication that he wasn’t pleased with the way Craig dealt with it.

    Well played Alloa, great defence, fitness and organisation, we tried to keep the tempo high and missed a couple.Forget Craig Gordon is a GK, it shouldn’t matter, his challenge was high and well late, a red card every time for me.
