Just back from game. Awful. Even worse than Zagreb performance. Two home EL games and six points, but best team lost in both games.
We struggle against teams who sit in at CP because we are totally bereft of creativity in midfield and play the game at snail’s pace. We are better away from home when teams come at us, we’ll probably win comfortably in Romania in a fortnight.
Our pathetic excuse for a signing policy is coming home to roost. Scepovic looks like the latest in a long line of strikers who are cheap punts from abroad and aren’t good enough, Tonev and Wakaso are obviously so good that we play two slow central players on the wings instead of them. And Berget is that good he can’t even get on the bench for as poor a team as we’ve had in years. The only two players signed who you would want to keep will not be here next season.
Another borefest to look forward to on Sunday!!

Amazing to think that a win away to Astra and a win for Salzburg would see us through.
This is Celtic though so no doubt it will go to the last second of the last game.

You called the comparison not me. Big picture and results are important. We’ve played prettier and lost. We are in a better position than many naysayers said we would be in this competition.
Look I get a kick out of celtic. Always have. Always will. The current fad for waiting for Ronnys dismissal is pathetic.
IMHO.

Just thing out.
Three points won, thanks very much, but the performance was poor.
Tonight, it’d didnt seem to me it was tactics, or lack of shape.
It was players not passing 5 yards, or running to close down, or make space.
Seldom seen Scott Brown play so poorly.
Scepovic and Johansen played ok.
Gordon played very well.
That was about it. Even Lustig looked out of sorts.
Tonev, please no more, he may have skill, but hide and seek isn’t the game.
But, three points, learn, move on and improve.

I have no problem with the fans being unhappy and I don’t think were are playing well at the moment.
I remember when great teams came to CP and were cautious. Some great nights. Great memories.
Now were at a different place, along with the majority of world football. So be it. I know those times will come back, but meantime we are where we are and that’s life.
I’m content to go along and watch Celtic no matter what. Support will carry us through. Virtiol will only create the environment for further unnecessary decline. I won’t be party to that.
When those heady days come back. AND THEY WILL!!! It’ll be all the sweeter and I WILL appreciate it all the more.

Predictable inability to retain possession in Europe.
Ronny has been left with loans and Stokes up front. How I hope he shuts up a lot of people on here.
The blessed Martin struggled, despite having Larsson etc, against a crap Finnish team. Managers need time.

What a man Ronny is.

Just back from game poorest performance from a celtic team I’ve ever seen, no cohesion what so ever, , players are lost.
