The annual Orange Order parade for the County Donegal Orange Lodge is held each year in Rossnowlagh, usually on the Saturday before 12 July. The number of participants and marching bands varies each year with most marchers coming from order lodges based in Northern Ireland but some come from other areas in Donegal, Monaghan and Cavan. There is no lodge in Rossnowlagh. The participants begin near St John’s Church and march for approximately 2 km into the centre of Rossnowlagh, where they congregate for some time. The marchers march back to St John’s church area in the late afternoon.

TSD – I wouldn’t write off Beram and JF just yet.

They didn’t all of a sudden become bad footballers over-night.

Beram was the victim of shocking assault, that coward McCulloch being the culprit.

JF almost lost his leg/foot at Hampden,Liam Kelly of Kilmarnock was responsible for that brutal act.

Blame the MIBS for their abject failure to protect our footballers.

  8. Tricoloured. I hope also. Was he in the tour squad. Why is he not starting. In front of Balde ?

    sydneytim,

This tour scenario fries my head mate. Its all about fitness levels and getting up to speed therefore we should be touring Ireland,Wales,England and back to Scotland and getting thousands to watch us rather than a few dozen scattered here and there and I don’t mean that disrespectful to the people who have been there to watch us

  10. Tricoloured. I suppose TV weather is better in mainland Europe for consultant training

Having ” done ” the Palestinian population of the region, I feel it would only be fair for you to outline the population of Jewish people in percentage terms ,from the time of the start of the British mandate, say `21 , going through the pre `39 war ,post `39 war to the present day.

You`ll know what I`m getting at.

The similarity between the Ulster plantation and the Palestinian plantation.

Both had the intention of religious and subsequently political domination of the region.

Incidentally,my question does not suggest support for the waving of Palestinian flags at Celtic Park.

The wrong place, imho,to promote the pro-Palestinian cause,or any other political cause, party or otherwise.

  14. Margaret McGill on

Palestine belongs to the Arabs in the same sense that England belongs to the English or France to the French. It is wrong and inhuman to impose the Jews on the Arabs… Surely it would be a crime against humanity to reduce the proud Arabs so that Palestine can be restored to the Jews partly or wholly as their national home.

  15. That plane has definitely had two seperate explosions at the top, with no damage to the rest of the plane except for the landing.

    Heroic stuff from the pilots.

Be interesting to see how the footage and reporting is changed tomorrow.

  16. Mags @ 02:55

Well said amigo. The fact that they were forcibly evicted from their homes just over 30 years ago to make way for the expansion of Israel seems to be the point that many miss.

  17. First there was Victor Wanyama. Then, there was Efe Ambrose. Now there is Marion Bartoli. Go get her, Lenny.

Bartoli is closer in style to Victor than Efe is. They could be a very good combination.

    No transfer fee.

    Tis a no brainer.

  18. Now Bartoli has won the Grand Slam, I’m hearing said player is keen to move on to bigger things, such as winning the Big Ears with the Tic….

    Just sayin…..

If someone was to tell me, there’s some tennis player called Henrik Larsson we think would fit into the Celtic squad, I’d be jumping at that chance, Bartoli is the Henrik Larsson of ball control and aggressive attack…but as a Centre Half, unbeatable !

Why the feck have we not signed Bartoli yet?? Feckin board.
