I did see your post, but too late for responding

Your point on players receiving the ball with wrong shape ( facing wrong way)

Was corrected to a huge extent by Sincy yesterday

Was this due to positioning of Izzy and Olly ???

Incidentally I think Kieran is a better defender, note, defender ?

It’s only this place that makes me grumpy :-) in real life am the wee quiet guy in the corner …

You post a fitba opinion which then turns into us v them … no wonder the deluded Huns think we are obsessed:-)

  3. Maybe SS is aware of the relationship that young KT has with the fans, and sacrifices some of his own game to let KT shine ?

Maybe he’s a bit in awe of KT and the player he has become at such a young age ?

I prefer my wingers to mainly stay out wide, stretch the defence, take on the ful back and get decent crosses into the box and force the opposition to defend in front of their own goal. Nowt wrong with occasionally cutting inside so as not to become predictable.

    Magic LMS victory.

Had to laugh at the Green Brigade version of Shaky Stevens Christmas song. ????

On the Scott Sinclair stuff he has been an amazing signing and still contributing with goals … the amateur physiologists should maybe just put it down to not being able to hit the heights that some expect :-)

Am sure Brendan knows how to manage our Scott S even from his Swansea days

  6. GFTB

Scott Sinclair has been poor most of this season. Thought he was magic yesterday. Izzy and Calmac fed him constantly wi the ball and he thrived.

    ****LMS11- we have a winner!!!!!!****

    Good Evening fholks

Congrats to Gutenberg for winning LMS11 cleanly. No buybacks and no need to pick the zombies along the way. 13 straight winners in a row. Commiserations to Travelbhoy’s Pardnur who was so close but Murderwell let them down in the end! So that is it for LMS11, an amazing and fun competition raising a fantastic amount for special beneficiaries. We hope you all enjoyed taking part and thank you for your kind support and donations.

We are going to take a wee break for now, but hope to see you all with your friends and family in the New Year. If you have never taken part, then why not take part….Its dead easy to win!! :-)

We hope you have a peaceful and enjoyable and perhaps even a (Green and) White Christmas.

Just read CRCs email … great stuff with your triumph, LMS is a terrific competition and many thanks to CRC, Jobo in the past and Bateen Bhoy …

    Well done bhoys

  9. Didn’t see the game today but i’ve watched the Huns a number of times this season. Any team that has done well has been able to nullify Morelos and Tavernier. Both blow hot and cold but if you stop them the Huns have very little else. We did it very well In September. I expect us to pummel their midfield which is bang average. As long as we match their intensity we will win. My main concern would be Sinclair not tracking Tavernier in a defensive context. I think that is why Sinclair did not start in any of the previous 3 matches against them because he cannot be trusted to do that.

I think our Scott has been suffering a bit with form and when BR took him out the team I think it dented his confidence … I love him as a player and we all know footballers are just weans at heart… by all accounts Scott was magic yesterday hope that’s him back in the zone… I love the fact he grabs the ball for penalties as some pro players are still scared to hit them.. and another thing I read Petecs post this morning about “Gerry” going to Dumbarton … Reading between the lines I thought he was posting about Gerry Cimmamon :-) am in the office till about lunchtime on Friday so Dumbarton isn’t a million miles away, so be warned :-) hope there is a pool table … snooker is far too much of a walk :-)

  11. NORRIEM

KT is far superior to Izzy in the tackle.

I feel Brendan wanted to curtail some of his constant offense and coached him to be more mindful of his defensive responsibilities.

In my opinion this has reduced KT’s effectiveness which in turn has impacted Sinclair.

I like our Mikey J as well :-)

For me Scott Sinclair has bought into the whole Celtic thing (whatever that means :-) my type of player

  13. GFTB-to be honest I think ss has Been poor for a long time,me being an amateur physiologist and that???

You will love Dumbarton Harp CSC. It is an old converted kirk on Dumbarton High Street. Huge Irish Tricolour will welcome you flying outside. It has many cracking Pool and Snooker tables in a very well run club.

Friday 28th December 3pm in Dumbarton Harp CSC. All Tims welcome.

*Rangers, who were in the league below us, and, as a consequence, 30,000 seats fell empty”

    Naw- they didnae.

There were games where we had lower crowds- but there was never a sustained drop in attendance.

You’ve been crying wolf about empty seats for the past 10 seasons. And, just for the enlightenment of newbies- you are not “Bhoycotting” for any other reason than you want a sugar daddy to buy Celtic a new bling Centre Forward every 3 months.

You claim shared ground with NFL who you feel was a “rebel” but you slaughtered Neil when he was Celtic manager.

It’s time you gave some coherent reason for why Celtic gives you no pleasure; to explain why you supported during the times of Kellys and Whites but object to Fergus. Were you hit over the head too often with a Daily Record?

What would Celtic need to do for you to return?

  17. My friends in Celtic,

Dropping off Christmas presents I drove by Greyskull. The fog just assentuated what a drab , dreary horrible place it is. It’s like a big haunted hoose.

Anyway, we should not be in any way complacent going there. They are in second place for a reason and they have the top goalscorer in the SPL. Ok he misses sitters, but nevertheless.

We will also need to weather the hostile sinister and hating atmosphere that will surely await us.

I thought our attitude was tremendous yesterday and as previously stated I thought it was a most enjoyable occasion.

If this sort of Celtic team turn up at Greyskull we will get a result, however if a team similar to the one that played at Easter Rd turn up we will not get a result and deservedly so.

    HH.

  18. Sftb -well said, you won’t get a response but you will probably if you wait long enough people coming on sticking up for kev and accusations of bullying ?

And not in that order ??

  19. Congratulations to Gutenberg on his deserved win – was a couple of minutes away from winning last week, but for a late Tottenham goal, and congratulations also to Travelbhoys Pardnur, who came so close. No consolation, I know, but you played the game well, and with no small amount of humour in your weekly mails.

A huge round of applause goes to Celticrollercoaster, whose committment, and unselfish giving of his time, has seen many hundreds of pounds find their way to some well-deserving causes. There’s a huge amount of work goes into the administration of these competitions, and managing the accounts associated with them – the vast majority of this work is done by Marc, and all i do is update a spreadsheet and send out some e-mails. Nothing, compared to the work that Marc does, so a big, big thank you to CRC, and his family, who allow him to make this committment and support him in doing so.

The real heroes are those of you who continue to play and support these competitions. Time after time, it’s amazing how many of you dig deep to support the charities who benefit. Sure there’s a chance of winning a tidy sum of money, but most play in hope more than expectation, with the certainty that by playing, you are making someone’s life better in doing so. Hat’s off to you all. As Tommy Burns said ” They’re there, and they’re always there”. None of it would be possible without you. ?????

Green Brigade have to speak for themselves

    BUT…..

Accusing your own team’s players of being empty jerseys or having empty hearts in the middle of a 7iar run, well…. that’s a wee bit spoilt child, is it no.

Their targettting of Lawwell and Desmond is fair game, though.

Now…. I believe you side -stepped a question there.
