    Anyhow … Pittodrie on Boxing Day.. I saw Jobos post the other day about Boxing Day games … at the very last minute I got a couple of spares for tannadice whit a trip and am not sure the exact year but if any other Cqner with a bit more knowledge than me for about 40mins behind the goal furthest away fae the tunnel was one of my favourites …. “tell all the Huns you know, you”ll never sell Ricksen or Flo… no you’ll never sell Rickesn, you’ll never sell Ricksen or Flo” … happy days

    It’s 2018 nearly 2019 and they expect you to swallow that they can’t deal with a drone.

     

    Heard on the radio today about some of the high tech equipment the army and the spooks have at their disposal, a drone can be detected via satellites within a couple of seconds, type in the coordinates and they are on it, they can track it to and from where ever it comes from and goes, if all else fails they could send up their own drones, they have heaps of them to take it out, they could shoot it down, jeez there is lots of ways to take out a rogue drone, yet they close a very busy airport for 36 hours, for why, we will prob never know, but for sure it wasn’t like they are telling us.

    I meant to ask this on here days ago. Did anyone else think that Hibs’ first goal against us the other day was offside? You couldn’t really see from the camera angle shown on BBC highlights, but if it wasn’t, the guy who scored must be pretty damn quick, as our defence seemed to have a lot of ground to make up.

    I heard today that there are various no fly zones in Glasgow where drones cannot operate.

     

     

    Glasgow Airport, Hampden, Paradise and Ibrox. They simply cannot function there.

     

     

    This begs the question how in hell they can paralyze Gatwick Airport!

     

     

     

    I see John James is claiming that it’s a fault at Heathrow. Time will tell.

    Drones that are bought outside of the EU can function anywhere i believe, as they don’t have the inhibiting software.

     

     

    Celtic have used drones to do maintenance and capture images of the stadium as have private companies and individuals.

    I never thought much about the drone at Gatwick, only reading the conspiracy theories on here tonight.

     

     

    What I do know is that the Russians had terrible trouble with the things at their Hmeimim air base in Syria, August I think.

     

     

    Radar to the hilt I’d imagine at that base, and the Russians did manage to shoot them all down, however they did prove to be a terrible menace.

     

     

    So, no – nothing out of the ordinary at Gatwick, in my humble opinion – they obviously could have shot them down however, the drones could have done damage to homes and what not as they came back down to earth.

     

     

    Interesting nonetheless.

    “Sussex Police said there had been 67 reports of drone sightings – having earlier cast doubt on “genuine drone activity”.

     

     

    Det Ch Supt Jason Tingley said no footage of a drone had been obtained.

     

     

    And he said there was “always a possibility” the reported sightings of drones were mistaken.”
