1. We were integral in recruiting Reagan and Doncaster with the remit of saving Rangers or at the very least parachuted back into the SPL
2. That we helped in devising the 5 way agreement
3. That the LNS SPL tribunial was an excercise in theatre
4. That PL was not too busy over the Wanyama trial
5. That we were the architects along with Paul Mc Bride for the offensive behaviour bill
6. That we were aware of Longmuirs bonus a year before it became public
7. That we necessitated the need for a new league body to protect dodgy going ons from a defunct body. I.e no accountability. And to help Sevco

My mates met Mr Park a while back and he stated that he (Mr Park) was wholly unimpressed by Alfred.
A few of my mates who have BT or whatever have watched him with interest and have also stated they don’t see what the big deal is.
But going by what I’ve seen on youtube he looks amazing…

Re. Finnbogason, he can’t get a game for Iceland, Sigborsson of Ajax is chosen ahead of him and has a far better scoring record at international level. Maybe that’s who we should be looking at. Missed a sitter at CP though!!

Some things you put down to experience. Especially when information that is considered innocent is withheld.
I am not really a betting man but on my personal contention previously. I would put a considerable wager on it.
Quite simply the men who sold the shirts are still in offiice and with our PLCs full blessing. That surely means there is nothing else to discuss ?

After this response, I have to leave and write out some other stuff so I will be missing for a while.

Were there any sanctions attached to this remit and if there were, why did they not apply? If we wanted them back unharmed and in place, why would we jeopardise our prospects of that lovely CL cash that DD and PL so crave? The scenario you propose makes no sense unless you imagine PL and DD to be undercover masons undermining Celtic from within. I fear the truth is more complex than that.
2. That we helped in devising the 5 way agreement
Final version or some form that was never agreed? If the final version, I revert to my last question- what was in it for us?
3. That the LNS SPL tribunial was an excercise in theatre
It was that, but I cannot believe PL or anyone at CP sanctioned Sandy Bryson’s evidence or managed to nobble LNS.
4. That PL was not too busy over the Wanyama trial
I honestly do not understand the reference. Was big Vic found guilty of something?
5. That we were the architects along with Paul Mc Bride for the offensive behaviour bill
I know Paul McBride was in favour of this type of legislation. The public utterances of the Board would suggest they were not. Either way “architects” is giving way too much credit.

And what business of ours was it at that time? Why would we have benefited from opposing it or agreeing to it?

Define “necessitated”! Were we the lone voice wanting this to happen and managed to persuade others, against their original will, to go along with it?
It might be better, given the poor state of understanding that I have demonstrated in responding to your 7 questions that we cease this Socratic dialogue with the uninformed and just proceed with your espousal and supporting evidence for what you see as having happened.

Does anyone know if we have formally requested and been declined permission to play our CL qualifiers outside Scotland ?
I have picked up comments in the press, but, I get the impression it is speculation rather than a formal decline.
Having noted Cardiff playing Swansea today in the EPL, and our earlier trip to to a former Asian football federation country, I suspect that if we pushed this, UEFA would ultimately have to capitulate.

If your nose is blue, we’ll sing to you 3-1 in Amsterdam.
It pains me that people conflate Celtic needing a ‘strong challenge’ as having to be a team in the league capable of beating each and every time they play us (let’s assume for the sake of argument that Rangers were that team). The problem with that is that it leaves all the other teams barely capable of ever beating either of the two big teams and it being a real shock when it happens.
A far bigger challenge to Celtic is a group of say 3 to 4 teams that can realistically expect to take points off us at home, and perhaps occasionally at CP too. That’s the strong challenge I want to see.
It pains me but on both European nights I’ve heard folk on the way out talk about missing having a proper rival and wanting them back, or looking forward to them reaching the top league. It’s these people that will fill the stadium and keep the OF alive.
I’ve stated before that I shan’t boycott games against them, but they won’t get a special mark on the calender. What I really want to see is the club allocate them no more than the maximum required by the SPFL rules. None of the 7500 seats nonsense.
