    We have a great squad, the bulk of them have won the Treble Treble, all this negativity is not good for either us Supporters or the Players.

    yes but my issue is that its a great squad to win in scotland because we play against teams who are also full of young home grown players, but we have the cash to have the best of them

     

     

    but when it comes to european games, we arent playing against teams that are made up of scottish players so we get pumped

    Is there any way that as supporters /shareholders we can get to see how the recruitment department is configured, I am seriously concerned that we have no scouts and therefore select suitable signing targets by other means e.g. by contacting agents with whom we have done business before, in the absence of a proper recruiting network we will never get the right players or look to replace those at the club who we will be letting go or want to move. I have headed this for Lennybhoy as he can often get info quickly on who is coming, but anyone who can shed light on this feel free. Thanks

    i have been loving watchin pukki score all these goals in the championship and now the premiership

     

     

    couldnt be more happy for him

     

     

    but i am one of us who didnt fancy him when he played for us.

     

     

    he looked too lightweight for the spl.

     

     

    but its been brilliant what he has been doing for the last couple of seasons

    but even yesterday they commentators were saying all 3 results were possible

     

     

    no they werent – england were never going to declare on a total that gave them a realistic chance of bowling the aussies out without being almost sure the aussies would chase that total

    Good analysis. I’ve been in the company of at least four members of the Board and they have not impressed. With one or two of them it was quite the opposite. I often wonder if it’s a situation Peter Lawwell is quite happy with and they in turn are quite happy to let him run the show knowing that they exist in the shadows. I did not get the impression any of them would be willing or able to hold PL to account and that they would basically do things as he wanted. Worth remembering that it is three members of the Board who sit on the remuneration committee and they handed PL a £2M bonus.

    Wasn’t at the game yesterday, but note from various posters, Wee BGFC, 16 Roads, Bada Bing, ex cathedra44 and others from last night (voguepunter?) that the behaviour of the ‘Dunfermline’ supporters was a disgrace, bordering on the criminal. Some also expressed surprise that the bile was coming from the Pars. But was it? Or entirely? Earlier this year something similar happened at the Scottish Cup tie against Airdrie, another early round tie, tickets easy to come by. I was pretty sure at the time that that game was “targeted”, a collection of bigots, would be EDL supporters, including many from Norn. Not too sure if Airdrie is big over there, might be. I found out later from someone who knows about these side of things that that is exactly what happened, word was out, via various “groups”, get tickets from Airdrie, turn up in numbers and spread the gospel of hate. Something similar may have happened yesterday. Now it may be that all these hate filled bigots are indeed from Lanarkshire or Fife, but i doubt it. Celtic need to address this issue, for sure as hell the likes of Airdrie and Dunfermline most certainly will not.

    VP- The reason I got into cricket, it was one of the few live sports on telly growing up, the BBC had that,horse racing, Wimbledon, The Open,used to go home at lunchtime from school to watch it.

    I think the criticism of referee Braton regarding not seeing a clear and obvious handball yesterday is unfair. He doesn’t miss them all.

     

     

    After all, he did manage to see one at Ibrox last week which resulted in Hibs being reduced to 10 men and had a material outcome in the remainder of that match . . . . . .
