I know what is right, and if others have a problem with honesty, thats hardly my concern.

  3. Prodigal Tim (Massachusetts) on

LennyBhoy, that sounds like Paddy is not coming. French press reporting Nice hoping for his signature….

  4. Lennybhoy

If I read that right, if he is told by a significant other that he has done everything up here, why would he come here?

  5. Wee Paddy Roberts off to France according to latest reports. Nice are allegedly finalising a seasons loan deal. Looking to have things tied up by tomorrow — :-(

From what I hear Paddy Bhoy has been told he has no future with Citeh. Paddy has been spoken to by one that matters, former thinks he has done everything up here. Moves are afoot.

    Keep the Faith!

    Hail Hail!

The wee guy has unfinished business up here – specifically Europe. If he signs, it will be an incredible signing for Celtic.

The Celtic Support elevate players, the wee guy has it all. The Bravery is off the scale, IMO.

Getting Paddy signed would be Incredible. The way Moussa and Olivier are highly likely to link up is gonnae be Sensational.

Wee Leigh G is just getting better and better as well.

Big Kris @ the Bach isnae looking too shabby either.

I speak the truth. Now i know you might not get that, but its rather important.

    THE TRUTH.

I dont hide behind lies and petty nonsense.

Its not me that has sold Celtic out to the huns.

Im not in the wrong about anything.

And i dont need calmed down, im in the right.

Its not my morals that are upside-down.

  8. DESSYBHOY on 6TH AUGUST 2017 10:17 PM

Maybe it was the way I posted but for clarification. It is Paddy that reckons he has done everything up here. He is trying to be persuaded that his place is with us, regardless of what he thinks himself. At the end of the day Paddy will choose, whether it is to us, Nice or whoever mate.

    Keep the Faith!

    Hail Hail!

  9. THE GREEN MAN SAYS SACK THE BOARD

Nice try mate but it’s clear that yer at it, no different from the other wind up merchants on here..

A big laugh so it is:)) especially at shift change…

  10. Lennybhoy

No problem, thanks, best of luck to whoever is doing the persuading, cracking player whoever he goes to.

  11. Letter sent to JP Taylor

John Paul, I would be grateful if you could please raise my huge frustration with Celtic fc, and ticket office with the new arrangement in relation to European games from this 3rd qualifying games

And let me start by apologising for my anger in this mail.

I have held 2 seats in North Stand, 107 row CC, seats 1 & 2 since Celtic returned to Celtic park after stadium refurbishment.

Yes 1 of the seats have changed from my Dad’s name to my daughters.

Firstly, I m not, and will not be joining the HCST scheme, I point blank refuse to fund anything to do with the SFA, be that Scottish Cup or League Cup, and don’t need to get into pedantic s of league cup – my stance on what I see as the corruption in our game.

Anyway, I also accept that I have always been moved for European games, in the past I have looked to move my season ticket seats further down to eliminate this, but as there is another 3 of my friends also sit there, we have never been able to accommodate 5 seats together ??

For European games it is generally on myself and daughter who would be allocated together.

Anyway, I was lettered last week to be informed of the change in the scheme this year – yes I accept the upturn in season book sales.

The letter asked to complete the application form – strangely this was missing from the letter, as it was with others I have discussed situation with ?

So I travelled to the ticket office today – Sun, a return journey of over 50 miles, to be told the only seats available are in 118.

I find this absolutely un-acceptable, and shocked by treatment from Celtic, for fans who have stood by our club through the past 20 odd years, including the asterix years

I have faithfully followed Celtic for many more than the season ticket

I am now at a point of turning my back on Celtic, I have taken enough.

Be this the current ticket situation, the current fans treatment, which I believe to have been set up, the total inaction of my club against the blatant breach of sporting rules and integrity, the refusal to take Res12 forward, of which I am one to of shareholder sponsors of this action, I could go on

Not happy in the slightest, and Celtic need to know my feelings and total disillusionment with what is taking place in our club and treatment of fans.

If alternative seats cannot be found, I will be sitting out this seasons European games, and will be giving up my 2 season tickets next season, may even give them up this season

I am already paying for games, which I will never ever attend again, just now, no point is there ?

  12. Nice apparently on the verge of signing Paddy Roberts on one year loan deal. They’re trying to get him and Wesley Snieder signed for Napoli qualifier next week.

    Time to move on.

  13. THE GREEN MAN SAYS SACK THE BOARD

A keyboard hard man me naw ah don’t think so,I’m an auld man wi two weans, fighting wouldn’t be much of thing these days for me.

I think you are at the wind up, I might be wrong of course..

No doubt you’ll put me right shortly..

Cheering the cheating whit ye oan about??

  14. If the wee man goes to Nice then good luck to him, what a beautiful place to live and a great League to play your football. French football is on the way up, there are so many talented young players coming through. If it doesn’t work out our door will be wide open next season.

  15. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

Jimmynotpaul, I feel sorry for some of our young midfielders as they have the hardest task to break through .

Around 1980 to 1986 , some left or made their debuts during this period, was the last time when we had over 5 home grown players as regular starters. Pat Bonner, Danny, Mark Reid, the Bear, Paul (not Jimmy) McStay , George McLuskey , Charlie nich, Owen Archdeacon , Peter Grant and Tommy .

  16. WARNING MIDLY Misogynist post in the best possible taste

No doubt Paddy’s significant other will have a wee say where he ends up (Personally I thought that his friendship with KT would have been a big pull – Bros before – you know whats) :-)

Now just imaging your a wannabe WAG, where would you want to ‘strut yer stuff’ The French Riviera or Sauchiehall street on a cold January morn?

    Time to chuck her Paddy.

  17. !!Bada Bing!! on 6th August 2017 8:43 pm

Auldheid – do you think Celtic are complicit in the 5 Way Agreement? I would be totally shocked if PL was not involved.

    =======================

I think Celtic were active in making sure Newco did not get parachuted into the top tier.

I think the same sporting integrity argument also stopped a parachute into the second tier a La Turnbull Hutton.

After that it was no longer in Celtic’s hands as the SFL agreed to allow newco into the bottom tier of SFL a fortnight before 5 Way was finalised.

I think Celtic missed a trick in not questioning the same club myth, or perhaps they did, but were told if that is not part of the deal, Green walks away and the other clubs had accepted it.

Celtic were never going to be in a position to stop some version of RFC continuing to play in Scottish football. RFC’s absence could have killed off other clubs also in a precarious financial state and it would have made no sense to further weaken the income base of an already weakened industry.

Football is an interdependent business which means all clubs depend on each other, including the less savoury.

As I’ve said earlier I would have told Green to sling his hook or set conditions on entry to tackle their bigotry. An opportunity lost, but the guys in charge of clubs never gave that a thought or maybe even liked the bigotry of our game as its unique selling point.

So not complicit in the first draft that gave a first tier start, indeed the opposite.

Observed the second draft with no real concern and happy a second tier start denied

And thought that the final arrangement was as good as what could be obtained given RFC were not going to be allowed to disappear.

In answer to TET Celtic are powerless as one club with an agenda the others can outvote.

Making statements will have the same effect as the statements that come from Ibrox, the talk of the social media steammie for a couple of days at best until the next match comes along and would generate a lot more heat than light in those days then fogotten.

However if they are totally powerless a statement might have to be the end of it all but as they have some power, what power they do have is best spent getting a result that satisfies Celtic supporters they have fought our corner to the end.

  18. Timbhoy1 on 6th August 2017 10:38 pm

Paddy Roberts,if he comes back to us,fine,if not we move on,who in the Development Squad, could maybe, take over Paddy’s role

    ====

No one ready to step up and fill the gap Paddy left. Young Dembele in a couple of seasons maybe if he grows a bit and we can keep hold of him.

  19. Canalamar

Either that or Celtic go to UEFA and say we think fraud has taken place, you will be in a position to advise and because there might have been fraud there is no question of the 5 year time bar applying and our shareholders need a satisfactory explanation about what took place in 2011.

Additionally if it is clear a licence was wrongly granted and then retained under monitoring rules based because of deception, UEFA must surely examine their rules for the weaknesses that allowed that to happen.

In effect pass the bloody Resolution ! :)

  20. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

Cowiebhoy, good letter making very valid points.

I hope you get this situation resolved to your satisfaction.

The club should realise that their lack of communication with and treatment of our support especially with a long term season ticket holder like yor good self is self defeating.

Its not been the best year for you but I hope things get better with the club assisting you to get this situation rectified.

  21. Cowiebhoy

Sorry for the treatment you’ve received from Celtic plc.

Unfortunately you are not the first or will be the last.

Their disdain for the support is often reflected in shoddy service.

I live overseas so only deal with them on Celtic tv but their response to complaints is generally sorry but we we will do nothing about if they can be bothered responding at all.As technology advances at a rapid pace the service has got worse.

To say they take supporters loyalty for granted would be a huge understatement.

I hope you get a positive response from the club.

    Hail Hail

  22. Starry

Problems, I am dealing with a total ejit just now, reckons that the stones he bought from me were fake, sold him four stones, he is happy with two of them, they were sold as having no treatment, the other two were sold as having been heated, a Ruby and a Sapphire, now they were sold for a combine total of $16, they are well worth the $16 he paid for them, but he thinks they are fake cos they have been heated, had they been 100% natural they would have cost in the region of $3000 each, yet this twat wants a refund, see trying to convince him that heated stones look like they do has me pulling my hair out, he actually admitted that he didn’t read the description but he still wants a refund, dearie me.

  23. The Green Man says SACK THE Board on

    Starry Plough

Im starting to wonder why people on CQN are not as angry as me.

Now, as things stand. I will never be in Celtic Park ever again. That isnt because of anything ive done. I faithfully supported my team all over, for 40 odd years.

I come on CQN and get treated like a numpty because im angry about Celtic being cheated.

I cannot believe how many people are prepared to ignore the truth for their own selfish ends. At the end of the day, if Celtic supporters want to look the other way and continue to pay to watch masonic referees and blazers cheat Celtic, so be it.

I can hold my head up high knowing that i stood up for what i believed in, i doubt if any of the PLC could say that.

Those who dont actively oppose the corruption in football, are condoning it, and allowing it to happen.

This is where i bow out. I dont need this lying shit in my life

  24. OGLACH

I believe young Mikey Johnson was earmarked for the Paddy role.

He has had an injury setback but i hope he makes the breakthrough this season,

I’m not convinced by Hayes playing on the right so hope we have a back up replacement if Paddy does not sign.

  25. Just looking at the Nice team that played Ajax during the week. They play a 4-2-3-1 formation. The 3 attacking midfielders are nothing of note. Looks like Paddy could get a game over there. Could be a good move.
