Agree with Bada Bing…McGinn was excellent in 2nd half.

Sinclair is dreadful defensively. Never puts the man under pressure when the opposition have the ball….always stays a yard away from them.

    Broony man of the match.

Our urgency to turn back with every loose ball is very frustrating….HH

  2. 50 shades of green on

Penalty ffs picked the wrang time to go fur a pish.

And they missed it…ha ha ha.

  3. It seems a might disingenuous to me that we complain when teams come and park the bus at CP, then complain when a team like Hibs today come and do the opposite and we don’t totally dominate them. I thought they were decent and made it a competitive game – witness the comparatively few that left before full time, the ground was still pretty full.

The team coped pretty well with two bad injuries. Injuries to your striker and to your goalie always take a mental toll, more so when in both cases they look like repeat injuries, and possibly long term ones. Despite the fact that we defended for a lot of the second half, I thought we did it pretty well. There were few real dramas, one or two saves from Dorus. For me, Boyata did very well at RB and that’s worth persevering with. Jozo was competent, solid, decent distribution. Ajer strolled most of it. Broonie’s challenge deep in our box late in the second half was perfect.

Upside, Ntcham was very good again. Downside, for me, McGregor pretty ineffective again. But you can’t influence every game. If we’d had McGinn and they’d had McGregor today, we’d have won by more.

Happy with three points, but hugely deflated by the injuries to Griff and Craig.

  4. Agree again Bada Bing……our play is tedious, as the ball is often passed back even when there are options to go forward.

  5. Watchin liverpool game and VAR. They are complaining about time taken to decide !

Dead easy …..tell players – you cant touch a player with your arms in the box.

    As happened……years ago….and worked.

Game is faster now but …..

So some people think Hibs deserved a draw today, with their one shot on goal, aye right. First half we should have had three and we set out to nullify their attacking threat down the wings when they had second half possession. We were never under threat and managed to create better chances against a decent side who were supported by a hun with a whistle. Ajer had a really good game in a back line that looked solid with Tierney the weakest of them on the day.

and im in favour of it as well

salahs theatrics should have immediately made it a non decision

    well said

we can discuss our own failings in the game

but you cant invent positives for the opposition

So wit happened to the 3rd WB goal????

  11. Enjoyed the first half and Ncham was head and shoulders above anyone…Sinclair miss! How did that happen?

2nd half we never got going and thought McGinn drove them on but McGeouch was by far the best player on the field. He had a fabulous game.

Thought we defended well and Dorus had a good second half.

Feel for both Griff n Gordon especially Griff..we lacked urgency up front when he went off.

All in all good 3 points and enjoyed the game as Hibs took the game to us.

offside by a couple of inches for the boy standing in front of the keeper

  13. As for Hibs can remember 3 saves by our keepers Gordon 1 in first half Dorus 2 in second :)

  14. Timmy bhoy – a few out of the blue’s with the added ‘bhoy’ appear

    I merely make an observation

Worst domestic display I can remember.Absolutely shocking.

Everyone entitled to an opinion but that is utter bollocks. Worse than losing 0-4 to Hearts? Drawing 0-0 with Sevco?

Played very well in first half, defended very well in second.

I really did mean Home game, wrong choice of word, thats anger for you.

No matter,we were dreadful.I am one of the few on here who never slag individuals, sometimes the team performance, and today, after a decent,no more, first half, they were dire..A couple of great performances got us the win.Hibs will be raging, they left with nothing.

  17. Concerning Celtic,I have always,my whole life watching them been pretty lenient when they dont do so well.Try and always look for the good points. We had a few today, but overall, that was a terrible performance. The second half we were playing like Hamilton.Humping the ball into an empty half, waiting for it to be returned again. The most relieved I can remember being when the whistle went.Anyone trying to polish that one,you are kidding yourself.

I am delighted with the result.Same result, same performance against Hearts,I will be happy, but not with the performance.

    Dire.

Just as well there are no decent finishers in the league. Goalkeeper, right-back and a No.10 please, oh and Paddy back fit.

Looking forward to the Hearts game.

  19. I like De Vries.Saw him 3 or 4 times with Forest.Dragged there.Very good keeper. My mates wish they still had him.His distribution is very good.Big chance for him.

  20. BIG-CUP-WINNERS on

    Cracking enjoyable game to watch.

Scott Brown what a season he’s having Player of the Year, without a shadow of a doubt.

Boyata showed how just why he is Brendan’s first pick at the back. A gamble that paid off.

So sorry to read about Craig Gordon’s injury.

Celtic support streaming out at 80 minutes, I just don’t get it, why ? Cheerio, Cheerio rang out from the Hibees.

De Vries ability on the ball was is so noticeable.
