Hopefully we can grab a goal over there and defend like Orangemen. ;)

Delighted to hear Mathews is mom given all the criticism he has taken on this site over the past year. Like many other great Celts he perhaps just needed some settling in time and we will hopefully see the best of him this season.

Brown and Forrest played well in the last 10 mins
Our substitutions were shocking. Commons removed when he was coming on to a game and Lutsig and Paddy thrown on with less than 5 mins to go, again when we were in the ascendency. Paddy needs 30 mins to make an impact, not 3 mins. It’s going to be close over there, closer than it should have been

Matthews MOTM
2-1 is better than 0-1 but we made this harder for ourselves than it should have been,,we could have and probably should have taken 4-5 goals of Helsinki tonight!!
Having gone behind, we have to be happy with the victory. It will be tense in Finland, but I am sure we will score over there.

I dont remember much criticism toward young Matthews???
Wanted 3:1 but we’ll have to score over there now, I believe.
Celtic were much better in this competitive game than they showed in any of the warm ups. There should be a lesson there for some of the friendly-win-fetishists posting.
Looking forward to the Aberdeen game and the Sean Fallon flag. I hope to be in Gweedore next week for the away game.
That will do me never saw or heard the game but going by what I picked up on here apart from their flukey goal they never bothered us in the second half. We,ll finish the job in Finland I’am sure.

We were much better than them. They looked poor and we looked fitter even though they are well into their season. Hopefully we have enough to beat them over there.

Have a headache listening to Kenny Shiels. Good Lord, the man is a cretin of the highest order.
Very strong play from Vic against the Finnish wunderkid
One last surge and Forrest just unable to connect with Mulgrew ball.
Damn. Forrest nearly through, keeper collects
Fantastic industry from the team…………………unlucky not to win this more convincingly…………..but a win is a win
Close. corner
Matthews MOM
Desperate clearance from Jelsinki. Corner.
Adam Matthews should be MOTM, yeah?
Sounds as if we have more than enough to beat them in Finland. Come on you Bhoys in Green
A win is obviously a good result but we need to do better against teams like these
Greedy Stokes
FT
FT 2~1 Is that going to be enough? Not sure.
Matthews MOM I think

Hopefully we can grab a goal over there and defend like Orangemen. ;)

Not a bother.

Shiels senior on Shortbread, how apt…………….
FT 2-1.
Well, at least there should be no complacency from us over there – we need a goal, bg time.
1-0 better than 2-1. A win’s a win.
Plastic pitch coming up.
No reason for excuses. Get in there from the off and nail them – they’re no strangers to us now.
We have much more about us. It is up to the players to use the quality gap to our benefit.
Having gone behind, we have to be happy with the victory. It will be tense in Finland, but I am sure we will score over there.
