Britain versus South Korea, Cardiff on Saturday. If Ki is going, and that seems to be the direction, then maybe an opportunity for him to show against a half decent midfield.
When Vic plays in the defencive mid role, there are scouts coming from the EPL to see him, that’s where he is a player.
He is a good cover at CH but it’s not his position, he even said that himself.
Obviously Lenny disny trust Rogne to do the job for him, or even Lustig, or maybes he is trying to prove a point to PL and get a proper quality CH in, we can only guess.
I am not a betting man But I am willing to bet if you asked all the Celts who watched the whole 90 minutes for their MOTM nomination, Adam would get 70% of the vote.
Only Commons and Charlie came close to being considered IMO.

2-1 a decent score… Confident of progressing. Sounded like we missed plenty of chances tonight.

Well ma fingers are aching after my ghost shift on previous article lol night all I think we will score over there and go through but we need to keep possession better in the midfield and not be chasing the ball for 90 mins due to careless passes tonight’s game and Saturday will see our sharpness upfront improve as well I hope

Celtic TV was abysmal tonight as per usual. Whole first half kept cutting out and then went down entirely for the start of the second half. Only came online after HJK had scored and, thankfully, just before Hooper’s goal.
In terms of the match we were great in the second half but, as per usual, it took a goal to wake us up. We were by far the better team but due to our inability to come out of the blocks raring to go this tie is still very much in the balance…

No lapse of concentration in the first half in Helsinki should see us through, it’s a pain in the backside though when your first competitive game is a Champions League qualifier..
I thought we looked the fittest team by far in the 2nd half, its game time we need now and we’ll have another decent match against Aberdeen on Sat.
We’ll go through I’d say, but we’ll have to score another couple of goals against Helsinki, because they can score against us again, from what we’ve seen tonight.

Good performance tonight, on the way home on the bus now. We should have added at least one more goal, our play merited it. If we play like that next week we’ll be fine. Two minor criticisms, Scott Brown needs to trust his team mates, Sammy don’t get caught in possession in midfield like that.
The ref may not have been Scottish but he made a good impression.
I pulled you up the other week about your negative posts towards Lenny, and I even apologised to you.

Just back from the game and thought i would share my thoughts.
Helsinki are no better than an average SPL side, although you can be never too confident with the Tic away from home, we should win the return leg.
Big Vic never looked comfortable tonight at centre half, hope it was just an off night and not a mood.
One word of criticism for management team, two wingers again! I thought we were over that, would have played with one
probably Commons with Beram starting.

Delighted Vic wasn’t at his best tonight, the scouts hopefully weren’t too impressed, we need to keep him for at least this season, his stock will rise
We cant play with 2 wide attacking players next week
Brown and ledley had too much covering to do and we are too open to counters
Agree re Mathews tonite thought Ledley and Mulgrew also did well
Victor is not a centre half Forrest is a cowaed who cant deliver a decent cross I know he has got pace but imho he doesnt deliver although to be fair he is still young
I believe we will go through but we need better than Stokes Bangura McCourt etc if we want to compete at this level

Just in from game, so haven’t read back.
We played some good stuff again but made it difficult for ourselves against a team who were not much better than SPL standard. We could’ve and should have put a barrowload past them but were unlucky at times. Some clumsy misplaced passes and lack of awareness — hopefully just due to early season and big match nerves — which I’m sure will be worked on for the coming ties.
Thought we should have set up the same as for Inter game with Wanyama in the middle but we know how much Lenny likes Broony involved. But a wins a win.
Would have preferred to take a few goals to go over to Finland with but we should get by without too much trouble. Onwards and Upwards…

Well done tonight Celtic, against a team who have that crucial match fitness under their belt.
We played like the fitter team, especially in the last 15mins where we chased another goal.
Must be the superb work the coaching staff has done.
Hopefully a repeat or score draw at worst next Wednesday, after we jump the sheep at the weekend :-)
