shocking display from the MIB at swinecastle , how the wee huns no. 66 stayed on the park is unbelievable .
Apologies for lack of updates after 65 minutes – posting was very frustrating ( almost as frustrating as the game ) and the page wouldn’t load even though other pages were loading bery quickly.
Frustrating was the by-word for the evening. Killie are terrible to watch when they play us, but then, that’s understandable, given what they are and what they have. We need to find a way to beat these packed defences, or we’ll see more and more of it.
Things improved when Tierney came on, and his energy created a couple of opportunities. Not many positives to take, but not many negatives either. Typical end of season game. Hopefully Sunday will be better ?
Hibs need a decent striker and some better defenders. Lennon’s got the midfield running well but they still blow the big games. That said, the MIB had a big part in that result tonight.

whats the matter with LG now , injured once again ,seems a recurring story all season.
Not much to comment on tonight. A fairly uneventful end of season game and our fifth 0-0 at CP this season. Hh
Typical end of season stuff but I’d love to know why Kilmarnock played like their lives depended on it? Freezing cold rain in May with a huge downpour that nearly washed out the Gazebo as chittering soaked Tims perched awkwardly in their seats.
93 minutes of penury a couple of missed headers and a Stuart Armstrong fluff for the keeper, added up to a cold night in Paradise with the league trophy in already in the bag, who’d have thunk it.
Kilmarnock hunt in packs not attackers but defenders like dervishes queuing up to make the last ditch tackle, and the champions never had one clean strike on goal for the Killie keeper to save.
With Scott Bain likewise, this was not riveting stuff, Miller and Hendry looked like back up full backs and Simunovic is suddenly last choice centre back for a first team berth. Broony tried to prompt from the middle assisted by Callum but Paddy Roberts never got going, just like his season.
