I’m away to ponder the meaning of Life, we do have an outstanding young team and an outstanding Manager. We didn’t show it today, & tactically Lenny didn’t have his finest hour either but as Van the Man says in his song “there will be days like this”, Keep the Faith” all.

Motivation? Hangover? Tiredness from mid-week efforts? Can’t figure which.
Shuffling the pack/ experimenting after ‘big’ games never seems to quite work for us.
Surprised that Watt didn’t start! The Mathews/ Kayal/ Forrest link was weak (2 with little game-time recently and one with defensive frailties) – Miku (as a new player) probably needed the comfort of 4-5 experienced (on their game) players around him.
We’ve seen the benefit of young like-for-like players coming in to fill a position (McGeoch/ Filip) – can’t see the benefit of making 5 changes and shuffling others around just to accommodate.
It’s not been costly (unless you had a bet on) but wouldn’t like to see a repeat of today’s result become an occasional bad habit.
We should not be losing games at Celtic Park – no matter the opposition!

No one receives pass marks today. Awful performance. Listening to Lenny interview on way back and he says worst performance since he became manager and he takes responsibility for it.
Should be put down as bad day at the office and concentrate on Tuesday.
Miku, can we send him back in January? To date has shown nothing, Tony Watt (despite glaring miss) gives us a lot more than Miku does, as does Lassad based on what we’ve seen so far. Bringing on McCourt is the equivelant of raising the white flag, slows everything down to a crawl.
Nothing to do with the poor flat performance from us. Killie played very well and their support running and effort was greater than ours. They fully deserved the win. We missed 3 sitters but they were just about all we created today. I will not use the ref as an excuse though he was annoying.
No! What made me unhappy were the 2 absolute Erse apertures leaving 439 today shouting the odds at “Lennon” and declaring this as “unacceptable”. They were two men in their mid to late 30s. No doubt they delude themselves that they are passionate, demanding supporters but I’ve never seen better examples of two overgrown toddlers trying to justify their right to tantrum.
Wonder if we’ll see the re-appearance, on the blogosphere tonight, of a few more customers taking delight in being dissatisfied.

Dreadful team selection followed by a dreadful team performance
Poor timing for the subs
Particularly concerned about Miku .. No dig, little effort a very poor performance .
Also Ambrose , terrible …
More effort was made by a great deal of the support to attend the game than was made by most of the players

Bottom lip sags as I clock the result.
We will come out all the stronger from this.
I hope Lenny and co keep rotating the squad, whilst trying to field our strongest teams in the European matches coming up. You can see how Simeone, the Atletico de Madrid manager, is playing practically a second team in their Europa League matches and although the matches have been tight they have managed good results. As a result, all the players are involved in competitive matches and are plugged in when required if there are injuries or suspension………………………………….It´s no´ rocket science. Atletico are doing alright in the League too.
By the time we get round to playing Benfica and Spartak we will have the adrenalin pumping again. That was an immense physical effort at the Camp Nou and a disappointment to boot, to lose at the last minute. it is bound to have taken its toll.
Shock defeats ARE part of our history too. I can remember hearing being 4-0 down at half time in a cup final. To Partick Thistle!! It felt like the world had come to an end. I´m not sure if I ever quite got over that.

Despite the Irish question I have no objection to supporting ex-servicemen who fought in the world wars particularly. But I hate the fact that the poppy has become almost a fashion statement and obligatory attire for all public figures, not just on 11th Nov, not just for a few days either side, but for 2 or 3 weeks beforehand.
I can’t help feeling it cheapens the sentiment and sometimes wonder if those tv celebrities proudly sporting their poppies paid more than 20p for the privilege.

Our inconsistent play in spl should be a worry.
We seem more potent as a counter attacking team in europe rather than our shot shy team at home.
I s this because we have a coaching philosophy that is more comfortable keeping possession and shape and waiting to pounce on opportunity rather than create?
Our possession to chances created ratio is poor as is our off the ball movement.
Is the lack of off the ball movement down to us being more about holding shape?

Jabba trying hard to associate Hearts tax case with a similar 2 contracts case that’s currently subject to investigation.
Don’t know the lad’s name that covers highland games – but he shot the similarity down in flames. Said Celtic agreed a loan deal with ICT @ say £500 per week – they invoice ICT £2K per month. ICT pay invoice – Celtic deal with Blackman’s wages and tax.
This involves Lithuanian players getting paid as on loan players while at Hearts and taxes being paid in their home country.
Watch the deflection ramp-up in the run up to the FTT verdict being published.

Don`t pay it. They will send you threatening letters etc but only the police or the council can fine you. Don`t even respond to any letters they send.
Interesting views on the “Killie did to Celtic what Celtic did to Barcelona” theme (apart from the result).
I wonder if CQNers think the gap between Celtic and Kilmarnock is bigger or smaller than the gap between Celtic and Barcelona?
BTW turnovers of each club are £7m, £60 & £400m.
