Loads of positives today, most important statistic 3 points in the bag.
Thought all the fringe players acquitted themselves very well, we scored 5 could have been 10.
The goal conceded out of nothing gave us an unnecessary uncomfortable period but that apart it was a very good performance & a little matter of 67 games unbeaten.

FT 5-1 to the 67ers.
How will I feel when we are unbeaten more games than my years?
Delighted of course.

They’ve just done that for me, and yes I’m Delighted:)))
*Sizzle at home for me, might help make up for that scabby LC Final.

Thank you for posting the goals and thank you, as ever, to Bonfigli of the Huddle Board for the links. It has really cheered me up seeing those great goals after having to miss the game today.
Congratulations to Odsonne Edouard. You came in today after not a lot of game time and did the business. Take a bow son!
What can be said about Jamesie. He has always been a favourite of mine. I’m so glad you’re now injury free and turning it on on a regular basis. He’s my hot tip for Player of the Year.
Hail! Hail!
Newly promoted Strasbourg have just scored to go into a 2-1 lead over PSG with 20 mins left. Interesting if they can hold on.
Great stuff Celtic.
Shocking performance from the referee and lino, how they ended up with eleven on the pitch tells you everything about the standard in scotland, disgraceful.
In defence of the linesman at TR’s “goal”.
REF. Why did you not raise your flag.
L.M. Because the ball came of the Well player last.
REF. No I didn’t. Odsonne played the pass.
L M . Then he was offside. ( raises flag).
Afternoon
En route to pub. Smile on face after our best display at Celtic Park in the league this season- possibly of 2017.
Sloppy goal to lose aside a very asured display throughout the team with Broony, KT and Olivier N all terrific. Edouard looked as good as our other two strikers so a really good problem to have. I was critical of Tom Rogic in recent time but today he was superb on the ball and a lot more energetic off it than recent times. Think it was the right decision to chalk off his ‘goal’ but curious to know how decision was reached
Have a good one. 67 not out

Just the message that needed sent to they greetin faced thugs fae ML1 today.
Well done Edouard son
5 goals from 8 shots on target.
That’s clinical.
Some games we hit dozens on target and only score 1 or 2.
67.

That “sizzle” game is my secret sin. Again, I think it was Philbhoy who alluded to the following morning’s mass where one of thistle’s scorers shared a reading with him. Sometimes we can take a loss when good ghuys benefit. There were a few really good Tims in that side – outnumbered, that’s for sure- and we took the result with dignity.
I might add I witnessed the great Jimmy Reid in tears at the end of the game. Tears but not moaning.
Motherwell issued a statement yet????
Tontime…..obviously!

Oops.
My post was unnecessary.
Cheers Lymmbhoy
Best league performance of the season at CP. All 11 starters and the 3 subs played well. Edouard deserved his MOTM, Ajer strolled in defence, Boyata won everything in the air, Ntcham back to his best, Hayes had his best game in the hoops (we’re going to need him a lot in next 3 months whilst Paddy is out). Brown gave the mouths in Motherwell midfield a masterclass in how to control a game.
After the last two games I thought I’d watch it from a different perspective, low and behold I was truly shocked, we were lucky three of our players did not get red cards, well had three penalty claims another ref would have given and all in all we were lucky.
Perspectives mean jack shit if you lie to yourself or don’t know didlysquat about what your looking at.

*the only game I’ve ever left early and that includes a 0-4 against deidco. I had went up in the Lomond CSC bus, After 36 minutes ans its 0-4 i had visions of our 7-1 record being beat as they seemed tae score in every attack. I was in Queen Street station by the time Kenny scored.
“Good Tim” Ronnie Glavin don the wee mhan after 20 minutes, disnae excuse the result as although big Cairney came on he just replaced Davie Hay who moved intae midfield, anyway we were 2 down by that time.
Big Billy was well missed, as he was 10 month earlier at the New Year game, as it proved that George Connelly, genius as he was, wisnae a centre half.
Have any of the CQN chefs cooked thisbefore?
Reminded me of the Motherwell management team.
Gary67
Thanks for that.
In fairness I think Motherwell got it right with THAT statement
Af fur f sake.
14 times today Murderwell could have caused us problems from eventive play. Such a great side and it was disappointing to see them lose this game after 5 poor decisions from the red not to hault play after a Celtic player showed off. His one great decision saw a perfectly good goal chalked off for being 30 yards offside.
Holt is a tremendous MMA boxer and performed like a caged tiger.
Eduardo is so so poor with his trio of poorly taken goals.
Forrest double was shockingly lucky after deflection after deflection.
Unlucky Motherwell.
MWD Brilliant performance today Bhoys.
WC, Strasbourg beat PSG 2-1 – no invincibles in France.

I did the reading the day after that final with Denis McQuade. (Our Lady of Good Counsel, Dennistoun)
A lovely guy that somehow softened the blow.
Arsenal v Man U, first half hour has been the best game in EPL this season. End to end.

Been a cracking game, can see Arsenal scoring next
Strasbourg’s parked bus strategy works, final score is Strasbourg 2 -1 PSG
Aye and strasbourge are shite, how does that make us look, couldny even get a point at home, sack the home support
Belated thanks for the updates and the goal clips.
I must admit I was a bit concerned before the game, more about their dirty tactics than us actually losing the game.
As Barry Fergushun might say –
“Motherwell will not be happy and rightly so, with that result today. Although I haven’t seen the game, they didn’t deserve to lose 5-1”
Yeah, Big Billy was severely missed. What Ronnie Glavin dished out to Jinky was unforgivable. Made me realise that no matter how big a Celtic fan you are, as a professional footballer all that goes out the window. Pleased for big Dennis, though. No great harm done in the long term.
Last post for Tontime Tim’s perusal. Celebratory wine going down too well and too quick
Murderwell well murdered.
hey ghuys been living down in englandshire for forty + years is gerry mcolluch a tim ktf.
BRENDAN RODGERS took the opportunity at tonight’s post-match press conference to get a few things off his chest about Motherwell and their behaviour after their trilogy of matches.
The Irishman has tried to keep a lid on things after the most ridiculous of scrutiny all week that has questioned the integrity of his players.
Brendan spoke about how Motherwell acted after the Fir Park tie. They acted dignified outwardly while being severely unprofessional and disrespectful behind the scenes.
Rodgers spoke of the Motherwell Chief Executive running around with a laptop showing people the penalty decision against Callum McGregor – which was indeed a penalty!
B Rodgers not impressed with Motherwell this wk: “These are players who have got to this level because of their professionalism, because of their honest & how they work. Some of the nonsense that came out of there was absolutely incredible…”
— Alison Conroy (@AlisonGConroy) December 2, 2017
B Rodgers getting a few things off his chest: “after a game on Wed we have a Chief Exec of Motherwell walking about with a laptop trying to demonstrate to media it wasn’t a penalty & then tweets about retaining class & dignity, that’s not behaviour that defines & fits that”
— Alison Conroy (@AlisonGConroy) December 2, 2017
Motherwell may have made a statement midweek but the real statement was made by Celtic this afternoon and that reads Celtic 5-1 Motherwell.
Just back from the game.
Mwell played like Huns.
Acted like Huns.
So we beat them like Huns……5 v 1 …….ya moaning Mwell gits
…H.H.
Anyway, congratulations on reaching 67 unbeaten.
Amazing!
