  1. Canamalar it looks like OCD obsession on

BR needs to be more dignified, only questions like

Is that a timmy name ?

    Or

    Who are these peeple ?

    What a showing up :)

  2. Colour Blind Bhoy on

Just home, what a wonderful afternoon.

Congratulations to Brendan and the Bhoys for achieving the 67 with such an emphatic performance.

Made even sweeter for me as I had a nice bet on over 5.5 goals being scored at the never before seen odds of 6250/1000.

Bring on the Anderlecht… time to read back.

  3. Not long back from game. Some good football played today by us,there idea of football is kick anything that moves and that comes from the manager. Two weeks ago I didn’t care about Motherwell one or the other, now I wouldn’t mind seeing them in fight for survival:-))

  4. In the cold of Paradise,

The fans came in their thousands

    To see the Bhoys become

    67 games unbeaten…………..

    Well I liked it:-)

  5. Chufffed to bollox. That’s what to do to a team to quieten them down, what a shower they are.

    Great 67 not out

  6. Only catching up on the updates as I was working this afternoon and like to say thanks for the links to the goals, they are much appreciated.

As for Brendan’s after match comments, we’ll sometimes it’s better to “walk softly and carry a big stick” than be like “statement o’clock” FC.

  7. Interesting game — watched from up in the Gods.

Anybody from the club lurking — could you please fix the seat at 403 AA 17.

Broken windows and all that behavioural nonsense.

    Slow start but great finish.

We were worth another couple given the way we worked the ball in the last 15 minutes.

However for the sake of the SPL and the NT we need to do something about the quality of the refereeing — the MIB that is KC was a disgrace and then some.

He was beyond biased — he was terrible, really crap and then biased.

Not good enough to control a kids game in a playground.

And then there was the partial, forced and slanted implementation of the laws of football.

Some of the stuff was laughable.

Some of the stuff was dangerous.

And some of the stuff was pure bile with a whistle.

  8. INVINCIBLE 'GG on

With a more important game in mind, Brendan fielded a weakened side today resting some key players and the irreplaceable Willie Collum.

Despite Ajer being forced to play with Moult in his back pocket, Celtic never looked like losing a goal, until we did.

Our third choice striker scored a hat trick as he bullied Well’s agricultural defenders.

God knows how many we would have scored with proper strikers or if we had allowed James on for more than 20minutes.

  9. Medals all round to our ‘67’ bhoys today. The changes worked, we were direct and clinical. Motherwell are in danger of becoming a cameo thug crowd, which is sad because they have some good players and don’t need to revert to that – I will watch their performance against der Uber zombies with interest.

What a tonic from Edson, great show from Mr Hayes and a great new novel by Jamesy – how to score two goals during your lunch break,

Ajer’s direct runs just broke their line – like the cavalry charging through the guns he turned Motherwell

KT and Broonie immense – in fact everyone made me proud today.

    Hail hail 67

  10. Happy Arbroath Emerald CSC bus on the way home just passing Greenloaning. Rebs in fine voice. HH

  11. I had originally intended to go to the game today but developed gout in my foot over the last 2 days. That and the fact that my good lady arrived from Brunei yesterday and has been struck down with flu-like symptoms, it must be bad for her to take to her bed.

Well I had to console myself with listening to Shortbread and getting updates from CQN as my sausage seemed to be fried :-( Once again Willie Miller was resolute in his defence of Celtic and our penalties countering EBT Thompson.

They won’t have anything to debate next week after that comprehensive doing. Well done Brendan for keeping your powder dry.

My preference tomorrow would be a draw keeping the pack well behind us.

  12. INVINCIBLE 'GG on

    BBC Stats

    Possession 70%

    Shots 19 to 6

On target 8 to 2. I’m sceptical of that given the number of saves their keeper had.

    Corners 9-0

Fouls 7-17. Well had to win one stat.

  13. so this mid seventies while i was courtin/ winchin my wife. 2 brother in laws trying desperately to stop watching the tic went to everton mid seventies wathed joe harper run rings around the man city players. to be honest the only players in that team were francis lee and rodney marsh.hh.

  14. Hello bhoys ( in an un Eva Hertzegovina styles )

Wow, just wow, stuffing that pile of bile back down their winging throats today…..is incredibly satisfying…..given the style we did it ;-))

Running out of superlatives for the Incredible Quadruple Invincible 67ers…..what a time to be a Celtic supporter ;-))

Special thanx to Invincible ‘GG and all other updaters….youz are ghodsends on days like today ;-))

    Time for reflection tomoz….enjoi tonite bhoys n ghirls….am sure I will ;-))

  15. We started slowly today.

The change of personnel seemed to upset the teams rythym and structure.

Passing was very stilted and not many people wanted to show for the ball.

    Lots of moaning.

Lots of hands up gestures — I don’t think DB is on KT’s Christmas card list.

    Lots of static laboured passing.

The contrast with the last quarter was huge when we seemed to be dynamic and engaged.

People seemed to want to get involved and moved with conviction.

Finally on the subject of movement — JF must be good on the dance floor but he is very lazy on the park. He needs to make things happen by his own efforts rather than reacting to the movement of the team.

When the team is fast / fluent — he is fast and fluent.

When the team is slow and static — he is slower and static’er.

He only shows his talent 50% of the time — needs to make things happen rather than stare across the front line waiting for TR to get the ball.

However for 50% of the time he was good and got his just rewards.

  16. 67!!!

Great sound to that. Thank you, Celtic. Couldn’t have happened in a better year.

I thought Motherwell continued where they left off, kicking everything. The MIB yet again sanctioned their agricultural approach.

    Any word on Scott Sinclair?

  17. PCS @ 7.10

    Missed the ScS incident.

Not sure if he was caught after he had passed the ball.

Not the only one just the worst.

The tackle on SA by Kipre was incredible but play was waved on.

Some of the jersey tugging and blocking would have been foul play if it had happened at the egg chasing — today KC / Ludge MIB performance of the week candidate — just shrugged and waved play on.

  18. 50 shades of green on

Imagine you scored a HAT-TRICK the day your team went 67 games in a row undefeated , knowing what 67 means to the fans.

    D.Ream stuff.

    P.s I seen it happen.

    I was there and I want a t-shirt.

I was at Celtic Park as usual today and thought from the start we played some great passing attacking football, the first goal was an absolute sublime move and finish…. There was a great atmosphere where we were ….

What game did you take in today?

  21. Philbhoy,

I call it as I see it….I obviously don’t work in the diplomatic corp….some people just can’t appreciate the good times ;-))

  22. BIG-CUP-WINNERS on

Could we maybe avoid the in-fighting ?

Easily done, just let people air their views, dispute if you like, of course, but just drop the hostility ?

  23. THE LURKIN TIM

Having met you on more than one occasion I can confirm you are not in the Diplomatic Corps!

But a great Tim you definitely are!

  24. Madmitch,

  26. BIG CUP WINNERS

I can’t remember the last time I felt this good about all things Celtic!

    Just loving it!

And we are only 18 months into Brendan’s tenure.

If today is great………………what does the future hold?
