Only a fool would post so quickly after witnessing Celtic playing like that.

Dreadfully spineless, clueless Celtic performance with some of the wrong players selected, then some deselected by half time as RD continues to frustrate, this time at home and Celtic surrender home points without so much as a whimper.

Too many flops to mention individually in the Celtic jersey playing the alleged but unrecognisable ‘high pressing’ game which much include gaping holes at the back which even a Motherwell parked bus could find.

It really is tough watching Celtic under RD, the team is still going backwards at a rate of knots since the often maligned NFL, decided to quit. Kayal was hooked at half time and must surely be puzzled as to why, whilst Biton was redundant by half time except for loitering sideways. AS had another mare, in the Hoops, and even set up the Motherwell goal and why no one at CP has told him he’s not taking another free kick is beyond bewildering.

What ever RD JC and JK are doing it’s clearly not working, and the sooner he Deila ditches the duds (including his own) the longer he’ll get in the job. The squad is not good enough to be rotated and only when he stops the experiments with every Celtic side that takes the field never having played together competetatively, will improvement come.

Ronny has to sit down with the two Johns, and decide the best Celtic line up from the players you have then play them, again and again. If he doesn’t his Celtic time will be gone in a Mowbray.

    Back in.

    Jackie has won hee haw.

His team flopped in the final.

He maintains that old Rangers didn’t cheat with their EBTs .

    No thanks. A potential turnip.

We play in the SPL FFS

Against teams with a fraction of our budget ….we struggle to compete at times

No excuses….poor management of CFC on many levels

  4. First of all congratulations to Hendrix. Much joy and sleepless nights. ;-)

Vinny, it’s good to see you back to your ebullient self. That was quite an ordeal but you’ll soon be running barefoot again.

I was listening to Off the Ball yesterday and the studio guest was Arild Stavrum, once of Aberdeen fc. He was asked about R Deila and said that he had worked miracles at his previous club but that it took him time to build his team and to develop the style that brought them success. Now, I know the square root of here haw about running a football team but before I retired my job involved me in developing change and improvement. Let me tell you that it ain’t straightforward or easy AND it can’t be done in 2 or 3 months. I don’t know if sticking with Deila is the right thing to do but if he is to transform the way we play then that will take time. If it were as simple as telling a bunch of players what to do and then watching it happen then any of us could do it. Give him time.

Congratulations to you & your good lady,

Aaron Joseph welcome to the Celtic family, May your days be blessed.

  6. SPFL teams are filled with well organized journeymen.

There is little skill in our league.

Celtic are meant to be the best team and yet so far this season we’ve played well in ONE game for 90 minutes.

Something is far wrong with that picture.

  7. Evening all.

Well, that wasn’t the most entertaining of games. Plus points: beautiful weather; the Green Brigade were in fine voice; we improved at half-time. That’s about it in my book.

He was ripping into George Galloway on twitter, Fri night about the vote lol

I nipped in with a few words about the no voters hoooops, no I meant the DOB’s (apologies to real no voters lol)

The DOBs singing there’s no black in the Union Jack and burning the Scottish flag.

I don’t think GG will be welcome back in Doire anytime soon.

  9. Ronny needs to be given the season IMHO

Though as one who thinks that his players are not helping him .

No comment on game yet still shaking my head from side to side vigourously,

  10. Well at least the next CQN article will be a mealy mouthed match report and not a we are the PEOPLE article.

  11. Celtic had 63% possession

    Had 27 shots against Motherwell’s 4

10 on target to their 1

We had 8 corners while they had none, zero, nada, zilch

    Yet the BBC report says

Well were in the ascendancy but Stuart McCall’s side could not record a first win at Celtic Park since 2008 as Kris Commons’ penalty levelled matters.

    Beats me.

    …………

I hear ye and understand, for me though it would have been so much easier to support our successful manager in post last season, that man is Celtic through n through and wanted what we wanted, for less money we would be in the CL and playing well IMO of course :>)

I hope life’s treating ye well sir and HH to you and Yir family.

    Good day for the bookies

    Leicester City 5 – 3 Manchester United

FT Tottenham Hotspur 0 – 1 West Bromwich Albion

    FT Everton 2 – 3 Crystal Palace

    FT Manchester City 1 – 1 Chelsea

  14. Ps

They got the ball into our box once in the second half if I recall correctly,

Highlight was meeting good folk before K.O and watching their keepers kick outs :)))))

I thought Beram offered more than Nir Biton and wonder how Tony Stokes lasted 90 mins.

    pps

I think I will get a bike ,yon Jamesgang is getting younger looking with it. :)))

    thats all.

    Till later all

    …………………………………

Much better 2nd half, tis no easy to get through a parked bus.

IMO, our saving grace re winning the league will be other teams will take points off each other, otherwise, me thinks we might not win this league.

    Unless something changes big time.

Was in the hope for the future when RD was appointed, diminishing rapidly.

    I wonder what input the 2 John’s have ?

Don’t get this he should be given the season stuff. Our resources are a million miles ahead of other Scottish clubs

If Hearts knock us out on Wednesday the game is up for the management team.

  18. Neil Lennon was on the verge of the sack well into the season before he managed to turn things around. Did not see the game but surely Ronny should have started his strongest team got control and then made changes assuming Celtic were a couple of goals to the good. Look at the problems at Liverpool who have spent 100 million on players trying to get them to gel as a team. They almost had a Maribor experience during the week against a team I’ve never heard of.

  19. Mike in toronto. …..

Again you are right. …….there are good young Scottish players out there.

But guess what. ……..They don’t play for us!

We didn’t think they were good enough.

We went for the likes of Johannsen, Scepovic, Tonev and Berget instead.

Hard to argue with that given the last few months. I’m determined to be patient, though (against my natural instincts.) this time next year I’ll make my mind up.

    Hail Hail

  27. The presently evolving side may not be the most impressive we have ever seen.

    Time will tell.

The present greetin’ faced support, if CQN is any kind of indicator, does not deserve even that level.

We are becoming the mirror image of our recently deceased rivals.

We want to be… THE PEEPUL.

hendrix67 – congratulations to you and your family.

Another disappointing and frustrating day with not too many positives. I am not overly keen on pulling the trigger and dismissing anyone early in a new role but if we slip up midweek and struggle in our Europa fixtures then I will be really concerned about Ronny’s ability to lead and motivate our team.

I hope that scenario doesn’t play out but hearing boos at half and full time and having dropped 7 points in 6 league games is not a great place to be in mid September.
