  6. On the way home from the game, we never deserved that. New season ti met seat in 209 is brilliant, great view, close to the atmosphere from the GB.

Daryl Murphy, not good enough. Young Twardzic played well, Paddy and Samaras and young McGeoch all had good games, good run out, much improved from what I saw of the Ajax game.

Tomorrow’s DR will have; broken crest; Lenny must go; see what happens when Der Hun is in Div 3 and of course Celtic fail in signing Messi :)

  8. Bundoran Bhoy, 22:11

I did too, and with the most exciting bit of info all night as well

  9. Two goals in five games

    One clean sheet

Only friendlies, some say …me I’d rather we weren’t so damned awful

  10. Get wanyama up front big strong target man we’ve been looking for ,thought we played some decent stuff 2night samaras MOTM and a thought bangura looked livley when he came on why didn’t he start before murphy !

  11. Had a great time with my bhoys tonight. The singing was really funny and my bhoys watched the GB more than the footy!! :-)

Was a pleasure meeting celticrollercoaster, hamiltontim & theglasgowcelticway before the game.

Had to go down to our Cumbrian office this morning and arrived home late, so decided to skip tonight’s game, but it looks like we played well enough even though we didn’t start with our best 11.

I don’t normally attend the pre-season friendlies, but I bought a £15 ticket for Saturday. I’m interested to see how we will perform after the Ajax game, but I’m hoping for a vastly improved performance.

    Sack everybody!

  13. Feel sorry for fans who have gone to these pre season games only to watch daryl Murphy

This is a player that would struggle in 3rd division To play him reduces his valve to minus pounds

Team is lacking at back and up front

We all know that though and Peter lawell is ignoring it

Shame for the fans who are buying the tickets and backing the club to be let down again

  14. Ola folks, on hols in Alcudia, not up with recent news, other than Moisty not allowing TROPHIES being taken away, seen the result tonight, things aint pretty on the friendly front, however hope we get it together when it gets to the Nitty Gritty, would be obliged if anybody could give any brief news worth reading.

  15. En-route home from Celtic Park. A nice game with decent play at times but overall would have been better played out against the backdrop of Lennoxtown.

4 things to take from the game tonight not necessarily in priority order:-

    1. Time the Board spent some money and invested in a defender in the form of a hawk. The flock of seagulls which seem to have chosen the Jock Stein end as their holiday home need shifting.

    2. Murphy’s contribution would easily be matched on a Saturday, surpassed indeed, by putting a lamp post up front. At least with decent delivery you would have a chance of some type of lay off. He should look at Grant Holt and learn.

    3. Whoever designed the new East End regeneration route that runs behind the Jock Stein stand without designing into it an access walkway from Celtic Park to neighbouring streets needs their head looked.

    4. For all our pretty play at timed you need an attacking presence to get rewards.

I look forward to competitive action. Roll on next Wednesday.
