THOMTHETHIM FOR OSCAR OK on 10TH FEBRUARY 2018 9:29 PM,
I said earlier that Broony has not been his fantastic best in the past few games. In saying that,he was the next best to Jamesy today.

Big Packy ,
I saw your post earlier in the week about being abused by a lorry driver for wearing the hoops ( and a fellow poster mention that the haulage company is based in Ballymena).
Its been a long time since i lived in the ‘Occupied Six’ but my memory of Ballymena leads me to suspect that if you phoned them to report that one of their drivers had abused you for being a Tim they would probably make him Employee of the Month.
To be clear i have no doubts about how good KT is and can be.
I just find it strange that the most dynamic and best part of his game seems to be less this season.
He now faces backward more often and has not produced anywhere near the attacking threat he has.
For me at Pittodrie he was immense and we produced arguably our best performance in the league.
Recent Hearts game was the same.
Are we now tempering players natural strengths to conform with our possession strategy?
For me this is a worry.

Turkeybhoy,
With Scott it is all relative. His standards have been so high that and lessen of them shows.
There is a limit to how much we can expect from him at this stage of his career.
That is why I think a move back, where he can use his reading of the game and his fire fighting abilities for our benefit.
I would rather see him prolong his career that way, than struggle further forward, trying to maintain form.

I was just jesting about KT being our best centre half :-)
But he isnae the worst, canny understand some punters who think he can’t defend, I think he is far more effective defending than attacking, maybe in Scotland he has more of the ball going forward but am pretty sure most of us enjoy that fact

There were several challenges of that kind by Thistle players , taking out a Celtic player with no attempt to play the ball.
Now, to my mind ,these should be yellow cards, but McLean gave fouls without producing cards.
There were posters on earlier questioning why referees get away with this ,but there is a referee supervisor sitting in the stand whose job it is to evaluate the refs performance. The problem is, these supervisors are singing from the same hymn sheet as the refs. The only answer is a total detox of the system.

THE ONLOOKER, thanks for the post i just pity them.hh.
These SCUMBAG Officials are annoying me more than Ever before.
Celtic will Win most Times. They still cheat.
Sickening watching that dude, paid so much, perform like a Clown.

The only way to have better/honest refs is to have fair performance evaluators.
Unfortunately in the best wee country it is nigh on impossible.

My post was just about the couple of posts I just read when logged on, am the guy who has walked into the boozer and just caught the last bit of the conversation :-)
The whole team have not hit the heights of last season, been on the go since June’17, I agree with what you say but also think (even today) some of KTs balls into the box were magic his awareness when defending at times are beyond his years, not only his last ditch tackle today some of the times he is the only defender switched on, again just giving my view on young KT who I think is very, very special and hope we see him in the Hoops for many seasons in the future

MacLeans a cheat, but a fly cheat, I agree with you about Thistle getting away with robust tackles, Celtic should have had a free kick just pitsudevthrur box and Musonda made a clumsy challenge outstretched foot and MacLean couldn’t blow his whistle quick enough to “stop” the game, most of “our” refs have perfected the art of breaking up the game
Canny see it changing anytime soon

Got to disagree with the naysayers on KT. Possibly gone back slightly, but, bootings from opposition ‘players ‘ has increased exponentially ably assisted by Huns with whistles. As someone said give one of them a boot back and take the card.Alternatively Celtic could do a Man City and present a dossier…..Ours would need a forklift to deliver it!

Enjoyed the cuptie today. Celts did well. Kieran must defend himself as best as possible for so long as he stays here. I think he plays possum better than any Celt since Tommy Burns.
Liked Dorus giving his jersey to a young fan behind our goal at the Celtic End and I remember him doing the same at the Lions stand when he first took on the role.
Jozo and Moussa have two games to play for my team, Zenit on Thursday and the Scottish Cup Final. They’ll be great twice. July will arrive and Celtic will continue.
I’m all for Celtic presenting a dossier, primarily about the kickings that Kieran Tierney is subjected to most matches. I doubt, however, that we will have any joy in Scotland. There is institutionalised cheating against Celtic; today was the latest example.
We were poor but still way better than Thistle but the mib should have booked (and quite possibly) sent off a few of them. They knew they could get away with things they wouldn’t in any other game.
By the bye, I listened to Peter Lawwell on the way home. I thought he kept his powder dry, while, at the same time, laying down a few markers about some of the blazers.
I don’t remember in my 50 years of supporting Celtic seeing one of our full backs get some dirty heavy tackles as KT gets, unusual to say the least to see a full back get clattered so many times a game.
Him being Scotland’s brightest prospect in a generation seems to have upset a few people, can’t think why eh!
On a lighter note I would to present Chris Erskine with the Davie Dodds Handsome Hun(and never shall one be found) award for season 2017/18, consider wearing a Tescos bag Chris mate when women and children are present…

Keeping KT & Broony away from fitba will harm them both, a pair of fitba addicts :-)
Delighted they are on our side, then fling in the 3rd amigo The Griff !
I think we will get by Zenit, will be difficult but I think we will
If we give Zenit the same chances as Kris Doolan & Connor Salmon got then I might changed my mind about going through BUT Thursday is hopefully a different mindset
As the team worked their way ( anti clockwise) round the stadium a few young kids waited at the front of our section South Stand FS1 to see the players up close.
The stadium was almost empty when Broony came over and gave a young Tim ( about 7 yr old) his jersey and another his Captains armband. The look on the faces of the kids was a joy to see .
All things come to those who wait.
A lovely touch .

I would be more worried about that clown Trump you support,
When Broony appeared to give Janes his man of the match champagne he only had his trackies top on, I immediately thought I wonder what young fan has his top this week

Gerryfaethebrig,
I Love KT for his defending.
When the Double Treble is Secured. Get KT out of Fitba for as long as is possible.
1 month preferably 2 months.
Scotland – Naw.
The wee, the Guy is Massive, dude needs a break.
Listen to olde petec – 2 Months away from fitba will mean CELTIC will see the wrong decisions in his play not happening.
Kieran when he started, every decision was right, it was Incredible.
Kieran played well Today and others didnae.
Brendan has Slowed Broonie down to positional fitba for a reason.
