    I noticed David Turnbull doesn’t seem to pirouette back towards his own goal anymore. Maybe Cos Brendan doesn’t play as fast as Ange. Great talent is DT, hope he has his best year ever!

    There seems to be a fair hope that ange postocoglu will fail in the epl amongst some Scottish media outlets.

     

    What they fail to realise is that if ange was a fraud that got by with good players, is that those same players will be sensational under the leadership of a proven coach.

    Hatate on the bench is interesting. Either he wants away or BR not too happy with his attitude/application in training. As he’s obviously a very talented player.

     

     

    Let’s hope Turnbull grabs his chance here.

    Hatate has been poor by his standard since he returned from injury last season. Pleased Brendan has picked some in form players and not Ange’s definite starters.

    Not a great surprise to me Hatate not starting.Not been his usual self.Careless,haphazard in his passing.Still a little genius,but does not deserve a free pass.Turnbull,has the lot,but as we all know,at times does not show it.As BR told him”You have to keep the engine running.Big chance for him to show us all regularly,even from the bench what he can do.

    On the Jota story,seems it has something to do with the finances.Not FFP as does not apply in Saudi.Maybe hear more over the weekend.

    Doubt anyone on here would have picked that midfield a few weeks back or would have been surprised if both DT and MoR had been sold this summer. But, as mentioned above, if BR is picking players that have shown up well in pre-season then it makes sense. If Hatate’s dip in form is beacuse he wants away, I guess we’ll know soon enough.

     

    DT and MoR should certainly be more than good enough for the SPFL and if Brendan can get more out of them than Ange we might be pleasantly surprised. I would still like to see us sign a midfielder who has pace and strength and who will let Lundstrum, Jack, Cantwell & co know that we are not to be messed with. The bully boys know they will get away with “robust” challenges against us and last season we only had AJ ready to give them some back.

     

     

    I know, I know . . . not exactly 10 a penny.
