  1. lets all do the huddle on

whatever your opinion of the players is in terms of how good they are, theres 1 thing for sure and that is they dont have the guts for the fight when the chips are down

they are a gutless and heartless group who can swan about a pitch when things are going for them but can do fk all when they arent

  2. TINYTIM on 29TH NOVEMBER 2020 4:56 PM

The logic might be ‘we’ve got more chance of getting into a bigger league with the huns than without them so we need to ensure their survival, therefore a couple of seasons of managed decline is just what we need.’

  3. GFTB.

In any walk of life, if you have talented staff and you are not getting the best from them, then you are the problem, too.

This goes all the way to the top but change must happen.

    It’s a sad day.

  4. I have stated for years, we should play the reserves in this stupid competition

    Forget it,a nonsense cup

Does Stop me from hurting when I see us get beaten like that

Absolutely gutted, and fuming at same time

  5. Martim1980 on 29th November 2020 4:59 pm

At least we’ve not been liqudated.

    ====================

No not yet, but the way we spend money on poor players it won’t be long.

£38,500,000 in the last few years and only a couple getting a regular game.

    It can’t go on.

  6. Big Jimmy.

That has upset me that you have been red carded.

I hope you are back on soon, I miss your honest posts.

All I can think of to describe our current state is ‘gross negligent incompetence.

Absolutely and it dates back (mainly) to the appointment in the shower, based purely on the emotion of the day rather than any sensible, cold eyed evaluation. An utterly incompetent decision by a plc board operating as a brakeclub. Except that a brakeclub would not have sanctioned the lies about SEVCO and stonewalled the RES 12 guys at every opportunity.

    Lawwell out..

  8. ONENIGHTINLISBON on 29TH NOVEMBER 2020 4:57 PM

    Bullying?

Didums. Did the big boy call you a bad name?

You needled and goaded him, looking for a response.

  9. Go tell the Spartim on

Why do bigger leagues need or want us, the EPL thrives with the likes of Burnley.

We’re already cannon fodder in the SPFL and the dregs of Europa league.

    That’s a flier

  10. PeterLatchfordsBelly on

This is what Lawwell does. It’s what he’s always done. When the huns are on their uppers he gives them a fighting chance, because it’s good for business.

Whether it’s gifting The Cardigan 3-in-a-row, looking the other way on EBTs, the 5 way agreement or appointing weak, compliant managers, it’s what he does.

    A fraud.

  11. Sorry Philbhoy but using *rangers finances which them turned into Frankenstein sevco after death can’t be compared to Celtic’s finances.

It doesn’t fit your agenda, sorry.

  12. lets all do the huddle on

sunderland have just sacked their manager

might not be the last sacking today!!

  13. Onenightinlisbon.

The way I read it was, you all said your piece.

There were no shrinking violets, Jimmy might have been more expressive in his language, but it’s a poor decision for me, that he was red carded.

    ———–

Yep, the big flaw in that plan.

It’s all about the TV audience and Scotland just isn’t big enough. No chance we are getting an invite to England.

  15. I mention their liquidation purely to weed out huns.

Still hurting like hell about Celtic, the blog used to give some comfort. Not so much these days.

  18. If Neil was going to start turning it round then today was a great opportunity. By the sound of it he believes he can still do it.

Neil – that’s not backed up by any stats or performances.

    ==============================================

I didn’t mention the huns or their finances..and my agenda?

We are overspending. Celtic fc.we cant continue being so wasteful.

Nothing to do with the mankies.

  20. Yes but it appears every comment, however much it’s not linked gets twisted back at the board and at Neil.

  21. JIMMYNOTPAUL-it’s what some folk do.They goad posters to say something and then claim there being bullied.BIG JIMMY is no fool and hopefully he’s back soon

  22. MARTIM1980

Is that a reply to my reply to you?

If it’s not the baords fault and it’s not NFL’s fault, gie me a hint.

  23. F.B.

    How are you, pal?

I’ve not spoken to you for a while, as I was away, bird watching.

I couldn’t agree more, coming on, passive aggressive bullying, offering money, that if Big Jimmy had bluffed him, he would never have paid.

I know Jimmy doesn’t need it but I was hoping he would say, send me a grand.

We all know, it would never have been paid.

Jimmy shoots from the hip and more importantly, takes it back, too.

  24. Cant believe we have blown an opportunity to reverse all the negativity, rather we have compounded it.

Initially thought team was OK but would have played Frimpong in front of El Hameed, other than that we should have had enough.

Once again the opposition have got a lift from a penalty, the like of which we would not have been awarded,we then persevere with Edouard, who frankly aint worth the bother, and Adjeti who probably cost us the game by his miss.

Who scouted this lot, really if there is a bus leaving then he should be on it. £38m per the list produced by BSR yesterday, yet beaten by a very average outfit.

If you were PL,you could probably argue that is good support, although the Tierney,Fraser Forster, and the alternative to Adjeti ( Tonev ? ) have been errors.R

The Cup we have exited does not worry me too much, nor does the Euro’s, apart from causing adverse publicity,we have however with reduced fixtures, the need to take advantage.

I would not change NL but he needs help,or a different opinion to consider, something he does not have right now.

Right now I feel I’m back in the 90’s, driving back from a beating in Aberdeen.

  25. the long wait is over on

We’ll never know of course but I can’t help think that the lack of crowds has hugely

    affected us.

Perhaps NL feeds off the energy and the being driven on to win that a big crowd provides as much , as , maybe more than , the players do.

When things which previously worked suddenly don’t it’s instructive, natural even , to identify what you’re doing differently and if what you’re doing day to day is essentially the same it has to be external factors that are making the difference.

Maybe it is coincidence that we’re witnessing our biggest collapse in many years (years where we have been phenomenally successful domestically) at an unprecedented pace when we are in precedented times but I don’t think so.

To make matters worse , the opposite , I believe, applies to Rangers. The lack of crowds and absence of the criticism and vitriol that can pour from their own when things aren’t going well is undoubtedly helping them.

That said , it’s still NLs job to cope with all of that and , much as it pains me to say it, he simply isn’t.

  26. MARTIM1980

I never mentioned the huns…………so you’re making it up.

    Why?

    Oh and I aint arguing.

You don’t want to see me arguing!

    :-)

  27. Philbhoy.

Thank you. How are you and your lovely family?

I was away for a wee break, I better not say where, after what happened to Jimmy, in case some one reports me and I get fined.

  28. well done to the county,

Once again the players have thrown Lenny under the bus , he doesn’t want to upset them during these covid times but my god he needs to.

they only played with a tall striker on his own up front and once again julien was bullied into submission ( pig and poke come to mind) . Lenny says they can’t defend corners/set pieces ,simple answer is we do not have any defenders worth that title, we do not have a defence, no matter who plays there.

one striker against our so called 3/4/5 defenders , Ajer, Bitton, Elhamed for want of a better word they are murder.

Rogic a waste of space couldn’t tackle a fish supper and he’s not the only one.

Ajeti , we should have got Toney. Not a winger in site ,could go on and on but what’s the point, totally scunnered, players should be ashamed of themselves.
