    Well, for everyone who had their sights set on Lenny to fail, well done, hope your happy with the new manager, you all know who, he’s been getting groomed for years now. You knew he is/was next in line and it was coming.

     

    Pish about wanting better than Lenny won’t wash, you all knew exactly would be taking over.

     

    The footballing genius of John Kennedy is up front and center stage next, anybody who thinks different remain as delusional as when thinking Lenny was the wrong choice.

    I’ll add my voice to those who felt Neil was dignified and clasy in his post match interview.

     

     

    At a time when there was no defence of the game to be advanced, he remained composed and hurting.

     

     

    Whether he is manager of Celtic or not, he’s a man I’d prefer to spend time with and have at my side in a crisis, than many on here.

     

     

    Celtic will go on, regardless of any sacking decision.

    The report from Jim Duffy leaving the park said hundreds there and hundreds more arriving, chants of Lennon GTF and Sack the Board.

    That was as painful as I can remember for quite some time.

     

     

    Off to hang the Christmas lights and tree for the first time this early in season. Need some cheer in my life today.

     

     

    Can’t spend the whole day reading CQN again and losing a beautiful fall day to dissecting another abject display. I know some in the dressing room will be hurting but it is all the faithful on here that put their money into a closed door season ticket season I feel for. I have massive respect for you all. My TV sub is a drop in the ocean compared to all of that.

     

     

    10 is not gone yet. A majestic cup run is.

    I am sure I`ll be a lone voice on here but I thought Lenny spoke well after the match.

     

     

    Taking a sentence in isolation is not only a poor way of reflecting the Manager`s comments but is indicative of a desire to take one`s anger out on the most readily available punch-bag ie the Manager.

     

     

    Plaudits to Michael Stewart and Alan Stubbs for their measured , insightful contributions after the match.

     

     

    Also, well done Ross County. They did play well.

    Sad day today for the Celtic support so we just pull up our socks and go again we still have the chance of the 10. So let’s get things that can be sorted,sorted. Lawwell isn’t going anywhere at least not this season. So i’m afraid it looks like Lenny will pay the price and in my opinion Lenny should pay the price. Lawwell just cannot be sacked at the moment as he is to important to the running of the plc.

     

     

    Who gets the job or even wants the job I have no idea, but it will be a brave man that takes it on.

     

     

    Big JIMMY who I have met at a hoot is a genuinely funny and charismatic gentlemen. I believe his red card to be more due to his age as a bit like me you express your feelings openly and honestly when dealing with characters you find objectionable. I try and scroll by these types as typing takes to long. But believe me if these conversations were face to face the dispute wouldn’t last as I would just not give them any time.

     

     

    I’m confident in my judge of character when I meet people and the big man is brand new as to the 3 stoogies who sucked him in i’m not so sure.

    Neil Lennon issue aside, our manager and Scott Brown himself have all said that at his age, he’ll need to be played more sparingly. So why’s he playing 90 minutes of a league cup match?

     

     

    This was a game we could’ve rested half our team….the huns have rotated massively.

     

     

    It’s been said we have the better squad but there’s no doubt in my mind Slippy is using his better than us right now.

    if he is on a years rolling contract which is likely, then the board just need to give him a years wages

     

     

    thats the point of those contracts. he was going to get that years wages at some point because almost all managers get sacked eventually so this is on PL

    Agreed. I’ve wanted Lennon out of this job for a while now (probably since Ferencvaros) but I must admit I’m slightly uncomfortable with that kind of language being used against a great Celt.

    I doubt there’s anyone that wants Kennedy to get the job, the reason fans didn’t want Lenny was because he wasn’t good enough for the job, that applies to JK as well.

     

     

    I don’t think he’ll get the job full time, possible he’ll stay while we look for the real replacement.
