    We were poor and dull once again but not once did RC play us off the park, they were okay in parts, and good on them for actually attacking. Though it took them about 20 mins in the 2nd half to cross into our half.

    You can never have enough good times. We live in the greatest of times. My Grandfather (Patrick McGuire 1905-1985) had to put up with the hun for many years. He lived long enough for Lisbon and 9 in a row.

    Today was a poor poor game. Nobody enjoyed it- none of the many Cliques in Celtic did, for sure.

     

     

    We won 3 points, so that’s good.

     

     

    But performances have not reached the heights and we have become a wee bit boring.

     

     

    So, we move on to the next instalments- 3 away fixtures with no home crowd to limit us, if they do.

     

     

    Could be the making of our season.

    My take on the season so far….in 3 game segments

     

    We’re brilliant in one game, and win, we’re mediocre in one game , and mostly win, we’re kinda crap in one game, and scrape by with the odd loss/draw.

     

    Next 3 games, I’m guessing 7 points. A couple of necessary additions could be enough to ENSURE 9 points

    It saddens me that posters on here castigate the Masonic cabal but are happy to be judged and schooled by the CQN cabal.

     

    Whatever happened to free will. We’re governed by World leader cabals, parliamentary cabals, local council cabals, even neighborhood cabals….and the supposed free thinkers on here are letting themselves be governed by the CQN clique cabal

    Artur Boruc…what a guy

     

     

    Was at his first game for us…a pre season friendly against Leicester I think…could be wrong.

     

    The first ball that came through to him from the opposition attack…he went ballistic at our defense. He let them know that the defending was terrible and he should never have ended up with the ball in his hands. Immediately the defence upped their game. Now if only big Joe was as verbal…

    Next 3 games? I want to say I’m confident but really I’m not. Trying to convince myself but can’t quite do it.

     

    I think they’re on a run…with help….and one slip up from us will leave us an uphill battle

     

    It really leaves a sick feeling in my stomach to know we had such a great lead and let it slip to where we are now.

     

    BUT, if Brendan can motivate them like he CAN, we have the personnel to pull it off.

    3 away games in a row is a hard ask for a team in our run of form.

     

     

    I think someone said earlier we hadn’t won any 3 games in a row but we have won 6 games now since mid-December so we have been boring but it is still a successful run of results, now that Europe is gone.

     

     

    I don’t soubt Brendan’s coaching ability; I just hope his energy and desire is still there and his sacking by Leicester has not undermined his confidence.

     

     

    Great to be in another clique by the way! When’s the next meeting?

    I ask myself the same question

     

     

    I also think a 3-5-2 is harder to defend against and would encourage less 11 men behind the ball….might even encourage some clubs to actually attack 3 defenders rather than 4, thus opening up the opposition a little more, but, as you say, what do we know?
