Overjoyed- because of our 7-0 humping and good performance of Saint J, and anticipated game against the Clujy. Also overjoyed that the zombies showed their true self yet again at first game of the season, their vile songbook was evident, we now have social media showing faces of all of those who invaded the park and then crushed their own disabled fans. Also of stewards buckling and letting hundreds of fans in without tickets. Hunbelievable
Over to the authorities now to act on strict guidelines and press sound bites of last week.
But I bet they wait until after our away trip to Motherwell and try and tar us with same brush.
Come on authorities grow a pair of balls, act now on these💀 zombie fecks
Oh and overjoyed that for the best part my own DIY about the house is finito, now over to the professionals to do their bit😂 better aff at work.

Well it didn’t take long for Celtic to be dragged into the chaos at Rugby Park, a quote from a Kilmarnock employee via the Record…
“May Orr, who is in charge of the Away Disabled Supporters section at Rugby Park, added: “I don’t have any problems all year round. I only have it with Celtic and Rangers fans”
I really would urge Celtic to refuse an allocation for the match on 1st Sept, and give them nothing for the home match. I will predict now, someone will get killed this season it will involve they animals.

Apart from the MSSM`s desperate desire to tar us with the same brush, does the `article` (and Mary Orr) consider the fact that against us and them ( and maybe the Dons?) the numbers are far greater?

In the spirit of the Women’s World Cup, I offer my congrats to Celtic Ladies who today beat their Sevco counterparts 3:1 at the K Park in EK.
Our goals came from Kathleen McGowan, Sarah Ewens and Kelly Clark.
Weirdly the Sevco score came from a combo of famous Celtic players. It was scored by one Brogan Hay- get her signed
*****************************************
Ok, reading that I feel a list coming on. Now Brogan Hay, sounds like the toughest hombre you could put in a men’s Celtic team. Perhaps the current team, could do with a Brogan Hay. So at the risk of the names sounding a bit dark side, who would your favourite hybrid Celt be?
I launch the list by giving you Murdoch Burns, a Celtic midfielder, with passion and amazing passing ability. Perhaps lacking a bit of pace, but to compensate, a football brain without equal.

Regardless if it’s a disabled section, a stabbing in the street, or your Orange bassa of a neighbour across the road, these fuckers will be on the rampage all season long, it will affect every town & city to some degree, a pitch invasion at the first game of the season!, and it’s only going to get worse.

I agree. Sounds like Kilmarnock’s handling of larger crowds is at least partly to blame. The construction of the “Away Disabled Section” looked culpable too. However these are only contributary factors. When our supporters transgressed last season, the media angle was all about “strict liability”. This time?
However, to be blunt, it would be preferable if our support didn’t give the authorities and media the chance to draw an equivalence.

Interesting that Mary Orr is already blaming this on people who weren’t there.
Fact is Kilmarnock have responsibility for ensuring crowd safety.
They failed – and should receive appropriate sanction etc.
On the topic of which – whatever happened to the report on Celtic fans being crushed at the home game against the huns last season?

The zombie is under a hell of a lot of pressure.
Our support went doolally at the same venue last season when SB scored a late winner.
This occurred when the campaign was almost finished though, and we were on the cusp of another title win – that was their first game of the season.
Yesterday’s overexuberance only serves to highlight how increasingly desperate they have become.
We only need to continue to apply the pressure for them to totally combust.
It’ll be good to see.

Mrs H was there yesterday heading to see family. I have used Inverness a lot. It has actually just been extended in size. Wee airports are the business. Reckon it’s about seventy steps from the front door to the steps up to the plane. Grenoble and Frankfurt Hahn are the same, so easy, the way it should be.
The same cannot be said in large airports like Gatwick, CDG, and Ataturk etc, where you walk miles to catch a flight, and they make travel stressful. It’s why I always have a good scoop when I travel.
Having connected through Dubai a couple of times this year I can only wholeheartedly agree with you.

I’ve only been to two away European Ties. Both Barcelona. First time we had a draw snatched away from us with the last kick of the ball. Second time, we got horsed 6-1.
Strangely the second one was the most enjoyable, as one of our group had to pull out at the last minute, and Miss Hunderbirds (21 at the time, mad Tim), got a surprise early birthday present. It is a proud lifelong memory I have of me and her in the Camp Nou, amongst the Barca fans, watching and supporting the Hoops. Pwoud, vewy pwoud.

No doubt a wonderful display from the team . But I’m not going overboard yet , to be fair and not taking anything away from our footballing performance, johnstone were a poor side . I will wait till I see how we perform when we play a team with the boot swinging , and when 50,000 are against and not for you it won’t be a long wait . I watched there game yesterday , I was on here saying about them signing 4 guys at 6 ft 4 inch + ,the reason is easy to see ,they were awarded free Kicks for nothing challenges ,to allow the big guys to get up for them , same with corners , this ploy will be a threat to teams this season , but I am sure Lenny will be onto it . Not a moan guys ,just being cautious ,but we played some grand football HH

At this exact stage last season BT sport came in and secured the rights to our away tie in the third qualifying round against Athens.
Of course the ‘play off round’ onwards are already secured and confirmed.
However absolutley nothing has been announced yet about wednesdays match in Romania.
Not even those pirates over at Premier Sports.
I’m hoping BT sport put their hands in their pockets and cover Wednesdays away leg at the last minute like last year.
It was the play-off for the CL Group Stages last year when we played AEK Athens as for
the media sod them who treat us with contempt we should charge them double the
price from the last time if they want to screen our home matches live end of
HAG,
Murdoch Burns sounds like a wonderful player, he also sounds like he might have a ‘Granny’ in Ayrshire 😉

Champions League Play Off Rd draw
Cluj / Celtic v Slavia Praha (Czech Republic)
1st leg – 20/21 August
2nd leg – 27/28 August
Happy to have avoided Young Boys.

Tough draw (if we get past Cluj)
No such thing as an easy one but we’re in with a good shout. Let’s see how we do away to Cluj first though.
