Probably as poor a display as I’ve seen in a while.Let’s get the Green Brigade out the road first. The Green Brigade are perfectly entitled to express their democratic views without Celtic’s or UEFA’s permission although both are trying to stop this, is booing not an expression of opinion? The media will without doubt make a huge point of this.My personal opinion is, although I don’t totally agree with their banner it may stir those in the higher echelons to realise all is not well with our current situation.
I believe,as I said last night ,that this is a crucial period in our dominance and at the moment we are in danger of giving up the head start that we have.
Now if anyone disagrees with this then that is your right but let’s be rational.Let’s not turn a blinds eye to the truth because we’re supporters.Supporting the best team in the world sometimes means to criticise decision making because I don’t doubt for one minute everyone on this blog and everyone at Parkhead wants what’s best for Celtic.
Someone was saying there were a lot of empty seats around them today. Not where I sit. Every seat there was taken.

Corkcelt,
When the banner was displayed there was no negative reaction from the fans. It was probably held up for a minute or 2 without any booing. The booing only stated when the game started.
Fans didn’t appreciate Gutless in Malmo on display while the team were in action. A subtle difference.
Sipsini – if they get in to the SPFL they will not be quite so chirpy. Their flush is busted.

I am not a member of the Green Brigade. I have been emensly proud of some of their work in the past but sadly on occasion embarrassed by them. Supporters come and go like career players but to some supporting Celtic is not a choice, it’s an inheritance and privilege. No problem with the GB attacking the board….but attacking the players before a match is not on IMO.
Who here can say that they have performed well after a public barracking?
Not many, I’ll warrant.
In my experience it makes you resentful and edgy/unsure. So what was the point of doing this before kickoff?
I will be having a quiet word with the GB boy in the work on Tuesday.
Accept the point you make but the “We don’t care if we win lose or draw” are words that aren’t backed up by reality.I’m sure everyone sits close to a supporter who derides and insults players from the team they’re there to support.

Although we have been winning SPFL games reasonably comfortably there is a bit of fragility in our play.
Broonie does a great job of providing a spine but I think we need someone else who is ready to get hurt to make a point.

Broonie was always better out right than in the middle, we’ve always lacked a proper central midfielder. Vic was good at it, but only here a couple of years.
