the lithuanians look like they would be happy to settle for a 2-0 defeat …
frustrating the number of sideways/backwards passes …. players make a pass, and move forward looking for a return, but instead we play it sdieways … but the time we cycle it back, and the ‘return’ pass is made, the player is marked/standing still …
the few occassions, we have played the quick forward pass (like the one to McGregor) we have looked incisive … why dont we do it more often?

Mikey J looks like he has the wrong footwear on – slipping about. Sinclair needs to cross when he has the chance. When he finally does, the strikers do not anticipate bcoz they are not expecting the ball.
all too much tippety tappety and missing some invention in the middle of the pitch.
Celtic look a shadow – Kieran looks out of touch and tired already
All the negativity is having an effect on the team – we need more signing to boost morale and give the team a lift.
PS I like what PL has done for Celtic financially , however he neglects the team when we need him most.
As many of you know i have questioned wether KT’s potency has suffered due to our possession above all game.
He hit one wonderful forward pass to McG that almost netted us a second but overall most of our little threat came from opposite side with Lustig ,N’Tcham and Johnston.
KT had 22 forward passes and 28 backwards passes with 4 sideways.
He has not gone on many marauding runs either which was a big reason for SS and our goalscoring success in Brendan first season.

At least we have Izzy back to give KT a break.

Great wee tribute to Bobby Lennox. Amazing to see the state of the pitches in some of those old games. Like ploughed fields. Imagine Lennox, Jinky and co. playing on the current surface.
Craig Gordons outfield passes could cost us dear this season.
Not only inaccurate but plays it to a player that has an opposing player breathing down their neck.
Maybe a reason why our defence can look like a bag of nerves.

we are missing a spark , totally dominating as i posted earlier but flattering to deceive lots of possession but powder puff up front , any
anyone else agree KT not looking the same player?

We need to get a quick goal to settle any nerves and enable Brendan to make a couple of subs ahead of Sunday

To the twat referring to ‘Simple Simon’.
His dad taught me chemistry. A great guy and fantastic teacher.
If Simon is half as clever ad his dad he’s infinitely more clever than you.

Boyata has got us out of trouble a couple of times, Brooney & Olli doing well. We need a second to calm the nerves, well to calm my nerves anyway.

What a tit. I’ve been posting on previous article. Idiot! Anyway Thanks Leigh We had a brilliant view of your brilliant strike. 2nd half just starting. Pile it on Celts.

Positives so far – at long last, a goal from a free kick, and at least one inventive corner. Negatives – apart from a couple of weak Griffiths efforts and one from Sinclair, the goalie has had little to do. We break quickly, then allow them to catch up, much like PL’s pattern with Sevco. Apart from against the mighty Thistle and Livingstone, we haven’t scored more than one goal since Rosenberg. Our movement off the ball is sadly lacking.
Hard to visualize this team free scoring on Sunday, We are going to need Moussa on his game.

I feel so sad for Scott Sinclair, from our super hero to a shadow. Can’t begin to imagine how he feels.
Pride of place in my photo album Bobby and ma two bhoys at Butlins.
I well remember a Glasgow Cup match on a sunny Ibrox night where he ran riot scoring a hat trick
BLANTYRE,
No understand your ‘beg tha same…..’
Lyon have made an approach for Pedro (Fluminense) as a back-up for Moussa Dembélé, according to France Football

KT and Oli have had better games.
Typical performance.

GM….
Agreed mate. AU star to you.?
Calum drives into box. Corner
Just over by Ollie ..
Poor corner headed away
ML crowded out in box
ON shoots over from outside box
if LG is our best corner kick taker then the rest must be pretty bad.
Leigh has great first touch.
SS wanders offside
SS shoots over as he cuts inside
Sinky shoots over from long range
Think Forrest could improve things here.
Boyata dominating in air
