I was pleased Ronny Deila fronted up for the press conference yesterday. He didn’t say anything particularly revealing but it was reassuring that the pressure of the last week hasn’t seen him hide from searching questions.
Mention of clear the air talks at Lennoxtown was welcome. It lets us know that the fans are not the only ones who believe the ‘air’ hasn’t been right recently. It will also, hopefully, have given anyone harbouring a grievance to get it out.
One of the manager’s biggest decisions for Sunday is who to trust in midfield. He needs players who will respond to the circumstances, and who can open what will be a packed defence. Guys who have been over the ground before, who know how to dig deep in the face of adversity, are also required. For me that means a start for Kris Commons.

Much was made of the booing on Wednesday night. That wasnse a patch on the abuse WGS got. I recall walking out of CP when eedjits were giving it Stachan GTF. Jump forward a few years and we had the Lenny GTF chant. RD now getting the same treatment. Intolerant through and through.

Read on here late Wednesday night after the disappointment of the Dundee game, that the 25 + thousands who were there were “down to the hard core”. Jeez I hope and pray that’s not the case.. as out of that it seemed to me that about half of them boo’d at half time, whenever a set play broke down, when wee Forrest came on and at full time.. they also were responsible for the chants of “Ronny Ronny G T F….” That’s what will drive me away, not the poor underperforming team on the park, or the Manager.
I can never remember such a show of anti support in my life, which has been considerable, believe me. I’ve seen poor teams, poor players and poor Managers.. but cant remember such anti feeling ever towards our Club.
Our emenies cannot believe their good fortune at us imploding and turning on ourselves.. We have been writing their headlines and lead stories for over a year now.
Shame on the part time followers.. they are not supporters.
