CONFIRMED: ABADA IN, EDOUARD OUT

LIEL ABADA returned to the Celtic line-up for the first leg of the Europa League qualifying final play-off against AZ Alkmaar at Parkhead tonight.

The £3.5million Israeli international winger missed the 3-2 League Cup win over Hearts at the weekend, but is not fit and raring to go against the Dutch outfit in front of a sell-out crowd in the east end of Glasgow.

Abada has already scored two goals in European competition in the 1-1 home draw with FC Midtjylland and the 4-2 success over Jablonec in the Czech Republic.

Odsonne Edouard, who led the line and scored the opening goal against the Edinburgh side on Sunday, drops to the substitutes’ bench.

Kyogo Furuhashi, who has claimed five goals in four starts, again leads the line.

TEAM: Hart; Ralston, Welsh, Starfelt, Taylor; Rogic, Turnbull, McGregor; Abada, Kyogo, Forrest. Subs: Bain, Barkas, Bitton, Edouard, Ajeti, Soro, McCarthy, Shaw, Montgomery, Urhoghide and Robertson.
