There is no mention of subverting every rule in the game to ensure a team called ‘Rangers’ are positioned in as high a league system as possible. The statement is completely disingenuous. Having lost the battle to parachute Newco-Rangers into the SPL, Stewart Regan and Neil Doncaster have redrawn the battle lines.
Celtic supporters are the great cash cow that is expected to pay for the crimes of others. It’s up to you if you want to Cough up for Killie (etc.).

Would this count as evidence that he’s misleading them about their obligations & rights? Isn’t it an offence for a new employer to mislead employees about the conditions of the transfer?
