Scott Brown’s comment that the players will “look to do any talking on the park” is what you want to hear from the captain this week. Scott’s only just returned from a lengthy absence and is yet to get into full flow, but on form, he is the difference between an anaemic and an effective Celtic.
It’s always hard to judge from the stands what a team is missing when it’s off form but it’s clear we need leaders on the park to grab hold of games and dominate opponents. Scott is our most effective player in this role; a lot of responsibility lies on his shoulders in the coming weeks.
Saturday can’t come soon enough. It’s a far more important game than the semi-final I continually see articles on.
I’ve been in touch with three of the Res 12 guys and hope to pick up on this shortly.

The last 24 hours have been pretty depressing, particularly for a Happy Clapper.
One of the sad facts is the constant bickering during times like this when some posters parse the posts of others looking for offense.
The other calls to replace the board are plaintive cries in the wilderness.
We all know the board operates at the behest of the major shareholder and his proxie share holding bloc.
A coupe d’etat is numerically impossible.

Cutting to the chase…I think that yer plan of attack is well theoried and presented.
But, the types of folk who run Celtic have to be dealt with – ruthlessly and, clinically…no mercy!
Auldheid and his rebel band of res : 12 hunters of justice deserve all the credit going for the time and effort that they’ve put in to bring justice to the game.
But, I once had a fall-out with Auldheid who, like yerself showed a wee bit of naivety as he seemed to ‘blindly’ trust the Celtic exective operatives that he was dealing with.
I mean, these same operatives, carved a deal with the anti-Celtic establishment with their over-enthusiastic zeal to, cook up this OBA-thingy that was designed to prosecute Celtic supporters.
I opined to Auldheid that….
Justice would only be brought to bear on the cheating hun establishment when, trophies were stripped and, the huns were thrown out of football – under investigation – and, if their stadium was to be flattened then they would ‘truly’ be punished.
Auldheid offered to meet me to, straighten my heid oot :)…..but, I disrespected him by telling him that I did not trust him because, I knew that he wizny a daftie by any stretch of the imagination so, I concluded that he was being worked from the back by the Celtic executive operatives…..I realized I was wrong and that, because I was not then, a man of faith I failed to see were he was coming from. I apologized, he accepted and we moved on. Now, that I’am a man of faith, I see things in a different light re : were Auldheid was coming from but, I don’t know Auldheid’s back ground or, what sort of circles that he has moved in so, maybe just maybe, because I have always operated in environments were, if ye weren’t paranoid enough…..ye got done…I might have seen something in the make-up of the Celtic executive operatives that, Auldheid wouldn’t have had the natural inclination to look for ?
So, to conclude no more talking to the Celtic hierarchy.

The hierarchy have just stabbed a group of, well meaning, innocent, ripped-off Celtic Supporters, through the heart.

On a more light-hearted note, my son told me of a recent encounter.
Travelling into work in San Francisco, he noticed a fellow traveller was wearing a Celtic badge on his jacket. “Cmon the Hoops,” he shouts. Next thing, a totally different guy starts singing The Celtic Song at the top of his voice. 2 or 3 more joined in. Not bad for 8.30 on a Thursday morning in San Francisco.

Michael Kelly is a liar almost as much as he was an eejit.
Celtic would have died in 1994 and no tribute act would have replaced them, but for McCann.
Nobody barring McCann saw Celtic as an opportunity to make profit, nobody else who could afford to, would have seen fit to waste their time and money saving Celtic.
I don’t remember Michael Kelly moaning too much when McCann paid well over the odds for what where completely worthless Michael Kelly shares.
He can voluntarily give all of the money back, with interest, of not just his but the other parts of the Kelly/ Whyte cabal if he is not such a liar.
I don’t wish to forgive the current board for their relentless downsizing since 2004, but at least there remains a Celtic to downsize which there wouldn’t be if Michael Kelly had spent so much as another week as a board member.

Who knows,maybe a complaint from a concerted and concerned group of shareholders will get us out of this mess-though I doubt it. If so,it will never be forgotten.
Nor will it be forgotten who got us into this mess in the first place.
