From a blogger on John James site…..interesting

I have said on numerous occasions that the time for CFC (and other clubs) to come out and say something is when the Tax case is finally concluded, ie, the appeal ?. Only then can we have a clear picture of the stance (or not) that certain clubs are going to take. Its fine for the likes of yourself and others to sneer and mock the directors of other clubs, but until such legal issues are final then they have NOTHING to shout about.

Resolution 12 will be the damming indictment of a corrupt and illegal National organisation if and when it gets ear time with UEFA. This will only happen when the legal avenues have been completely finished. Until then, you can shout from the roof tops, it will not change a thing. CFC will act when CFC decide to act, not when anyone tells them to, I would be truly amazed if they have not taken legal advice already regarding this, but if you think you know better then more power to your elbow.

I am sure that Resolution 12 will be the key that eventually opens pandoras box.

Anyone who is excusing Celtic for being up against a ‘decent’ team in EK, of which I have read on here, should hand his scarf in. I said earlier that up against any lower division team like the zombies and we would have been out of the Scottish Cup. We really are that disjointed and leaderless at the moment. Dot and Ethel could do a better job than our current coaching dynamic duo.

Sorry, just can’t take you seriously….

  11. Ronny hisny goat it.

If, Celtic are drawn v’s the huns in the SC tonight….the dark arts will tip Timdom over the edge.

    Street-wise / savvy-wise / cojones-wise / cute-wise….Ronny will be fun oot.

There are folk who feel that, getting rid of Collins as well as Ronny would be the smart move.

Some folk want to see WGS brought back as a stand-in till we get a real manager.

Bottom line is….Lawwell and Park have a conveyor belt of players coming in that, deals are being made on….ie: sumdy’s troosers are being lined as these trialists and, projects are being drafted in….or…..there would be no conveyor belt. Why do you think that, Coyle, MacKay, Keane, Lambert, etc….couldny wait to distance themselves from the Celtic job ?

    Collins could manage Celtic….imho.

But, Collins has cojones so, there would have to be no conveyor belt.

    It’s a scandal!

    It’s happening at Celtic Park!

It has been condoned because, Celtic fans are too pre-occupied with what is going on at the huns(quite rightly….they have to be watched…closely)…but, this asset-stripping….downsizing, whatever ye want to call it has been, ruthlessly exploited because these opportunists have struck whilst, Celtic fans have been doing what the board does(when it suits them)….looking the other way.

Maybe there are too many holy-joes amongst the Celtic supporters to, suspect what just, might be going on at our own club ?….And, maybe the Lawwell & Park(pact)…think that as well ?

Whatever…..Celtic FC / PLC….has been hugely successful, but….has failed dismally….all at the same time.

    What a club.

Immediately….send Ronny on gardening leave or…talk him into chucking it.

Collins has transformed LG into a sharp-as-a-tac type of striker that Celtic will miss if injured.

LG said on Sportscene that it was, Collins who has improved him as a player.

Ronny is a manager who is a reflection of the present status of the club….he’s plastic.

The Ronny Roar….for skelping teams wi less than a 6th of Celtic’s resources ?

Not many Ronny Roars this season…..?

Some cheap-skate-kidd-on-merchant from behind the scenes must have put Ronny up to that…imho.

Probably the same chancer who tried to, kidd-on the fans when he cut the price of SB’s….claiming it was a ‘loyalty-gesture’ well, my erchie….I’m sure it had nothing to do with the tens of thousands of empty seats that were appearing when the huns went oot the league. And, the huns did go oot the league…they didny die….I believe the liquidation isny complete yet and, that is why the huns can still play in ibrokes….years of court cases to go before anything can be proved….fmm.

Anyway….Collins has a 6-pack…..Commons has a fat ass….that should have been booted oot the door after Molde.

Gie Collins the keys of the dug oot and, let him kick all the asses that badly need it.

If yer no as fit as Collins…yer no getting in the team….

….should be the new dressing room mantra…imho.

I know that this will all happen btw….after all….I threw enough dummies oot the pram, asking for a safe-standing-area built….they’re doing it….but, 1,000 standing places at a time is way too slow….get the “CELTIC” seats oot the front of the North stand and make it a standing area….just like the Jungle…the folk who already sit in the “CELTIC” seats should be negotiated with to see if a deal could be struck, it’s not as if there arent plenty more available seats in the stadium….please make it happen.

Btw….Souness wanted to sign Collins coz, he could see the leadership qualities of Collins.

Thing is, Souness couldny offer Collins the chance to play in front of the Jungle….so, no deal.

When ye think about it….Souness must still be trying to work that one out…why Celtic fans had a Jungle yet, all the animals at ibrokes….didny ?….Hmmmmm ?

    …un-pin…lob….off oot….

    Irrelevant; the point stands.

Those who continue to defend the Deila – Collins regime are akin to those who refuse to admit that, despite the black eyes and the shredded clothes in the wardrobe, that they are in a bad marriage.

    The evidence speaks for itself.

I have noticed that all those who are not influenced by any external factors and can think for themselves, seem to have the same views simultaneously. Their present, independently arrived at opinion, is that nearly all the Celtic players are cowards. Interesting phenomenon morphic resonance.

That was an interesting post by Zam and it wasn’t from myself but it was pretty much spot in.

My response, which is my own reading of the situation, was made late and still in moderation was:

    Zam

    Absolutely spot on.

For Celtic to have said anything before consequences of misgovernance run their course would have been depicted by media, encouraged by the SFA,as another example of “old firm” animosity.

Claims that could be countered by citing ASA or ECA or any Tom Dick or Harry as authority (where they have none) would be challenged using anything with an abbreviation to describe the organisation which gives it appearance of authority.

However the law is the law. Just as the first FTT was used to justify the minimisation of Rangers crimes ( it was just administration error over ten years, not paying players by unlawful means) so too can it be used when the final decision is reached on BTC ebts to question the LNS Commission.

The DOS ebts should have been enough to start an enquiry but misgovernance is piled upon misgovernance in an attempt to hide everything.

Similarly on Res12 the trials will be revealing. What will come after both sets of law processes run their course will be what is not on trial yet, which is not only how the SFA behaved in 2011 but also in 2014 when it was given hard evidence of skullduggery and did nothing, as did the SPFL in 2014.

The coming 6 months or so will determine the future of the SFA and Celtic will be part of that determination whether they want to or not.

  15. Big Peat of Islay on

Celtic really needs to strike a deal with the clubs on the European periphery and walk away from the SFA. The money will follow.

I can just see the SFA suits on their way to strike a deal with the TV companies with their jackpot game being Hibs v Hearts.

    Auldheid :

“The coming 6 months or so will determine the future of the SFA ”

Is the timescale really in the region of six months? I have read in some places that the trials could go on for another four years or so. Are the `six months` and `four years` talking of two different issues?

The issue is the same club narrative.

The outcome of the tax case, the fraud case, or any other case will not affect that one iota.

They are a new club, but are being regarded as the same club.

There’s no valid reason why CFC have remained silent.

And the longer they leave it, the less impact any intervention would have.

Not that it’s going to happen. There will be no statement of any kind from Celtic. Wait and see.

    Hail Hail fella…hope yer well.

    1 question….if ye don’t mind ?

Do you think that, the ‘shame-game’ represented an open goal for Celtic to call a, national media conference to announce that, the club would not be attending a govt-summit on the basis of having 3 players booked and, that the club should have rolled out the John Reid ‘dossier’ to explain to the watching world, just exactly what type of ‘game’ we had in Scotland and, probably as a consequence of that….what type of country Scotland really was ?

My guess is that, by now…we’d already be playing in England.

Btw….what an uplift that is, on hearing that we might be getting revelations in the next 6 months.

If all this pans out the way that we all hope….there should be a statue / plaque built next to the other hunskelping heroes on the Celtic Way….imho.

What’s the chances any such scenario would involve Celtic walking away hand in hand with Sevco?

And might that be the reason for the Celtic Board’s omerta on the whole hun train wreck?

  21. The EK game has no relevance.

We’ve lost a couple of games to a couple of decent teams and now people are acting as if the season is in a tailspin.

We have a couple of home games coming up where we can get going.

I think there’s a good chance that Celtic will go the rest of the season undefeated. There’s no more trips to Pittodrie and only one trip to Tynecastle to worry about.

  22. Ok, cards on the table time.

I have been on the Deila bus from day one. The body language of that team yesterday though disturbed me.

I really think a big decision is needed regarding the manager.

I truly believe any team in Scotland could beat us on any given day in our current malaise.

Still think Res 12 will have a say in the way things turn out.

  25. Jungle Jim

On LNS it depends on whether leave to appeal is given. That decision is coming soon I believe. If it is refused then the door is open to revisit LNS. If an appeal is allowed then it’s a guess.

On Res12. It is pretty evident what took place in 2011 but when that becomes capable of coming out is a guess. As stated the SFA are not on trial but the evidence that suggests they have serious questions of governance to answer is part of what is on trial, so for now it’s dependent on the trials.

Best case scenario is leave to appeal refused and, because of linkage between LNS and Res12 in terms of concealment of documentation and how it happened, an investigation gets underway.

However whilst these things will have to be allowed to take their course the way can be prepared for what happens if guilty is the outcome, unless the SFA wake up to the fact that their continued stonewalling makes them look even more guilty than in 2011 and answer the questions put to them since last April.

  26. Awe_Naw_No_Annoni_Oan_Anaw_Noo on

Sevco will never walk away from the SFA. They are part of the same entity. For Sevco to participate in a non UEFA Scottish competition the SFA and the SPFL would need permanently compensated. That is a possibility but I do not see it happening.

When Resolution 12 was first presented to the Celtic hierarchy it was not a case of being told “we are on it please walk away as you will only interfere and spoil our already well prepared work”.

The initial ( I would say instinctive reaction) was one of … move along fellow tims…. nothing to say or do here. Now there is a reason for that .. the question is why ?

Now if Celtic plc were remotely interested in stopping the Sevco procession they would have been on top of the Resolution 12 and they would have sent out those signals at that time.

Celtic plc cannot see these court cases far enough.

They are heavily conflicted and they know it.

Once the appeal process is finished.

    Celtic plc will instigate nothing.
