Communism was the enemy of the world according to western media since WW2. In the past 10 years, we have seen this attack change focus to socialism. It’s all designed to protect capitalism, which is the exact opposite of what Jesus stood for.
I get your approach of avoiding politicising of religion, but their paths will cross unavoidably – True Christianity is more closely aligned with socialism than any other political approach. Simple as that.

I thought the same when I saw footage of him today, yes, he’s had more chances than a cat has lifes to get his act together.
Still, I wouldn’t wish him bad and hope he gets sorted.
