At home, last season’s beaten finalists were entitled to think they could play their natural game against Bayern Munich without inviting a skelping. That notion was ruthlessly exposed as a fallacy. There are no hiding places, when the genuine elite clubs are on form, that do not involve stringing eight players across your 18-yard line.
I suspect you and I both underestimated the Romanian champions in August. Celtic held them out there and had control of the tie, but Cluj are not St Johnstone. Lazio subsequently discovered to their cost that Romanian football is stubbornly effective.
Celtic are playing well right now but tomorrow will be tough. If there is a winner, they will fancy their chances of winning the group.

Lot of factors influenced the result at Easter Road, the role of the referees for one, but we cannot ignore the way Neil set up the midfield, seemed to suit Hibs better than it did us. Could be a lot of those types of games through the season, certainly away from home. Even so Lenny has only lost two games out of around thirty, (what would Ole Ole Ole Solskjaer give for those numbers) we’re doing something right. If we can get our home form right in the EL we will almost certainly qualify from what is a competitive group. One game at a time it goes without saying.

Totally counter productive, detrimental to real equality and will cause unnecessary division in multi cultural and female empowered countries.

Turned over now to watch Barca v Inter. Only main commentator is annoying – co-commentator / summariser seems OK.
Looking forward to tomorrow – agree with a few here that having Ncham in the team at the expense of puting Christie on the wing isn’t ideal. Both are good, but you certainly don’t get the best driving play out of Christie when he’s on the left.
Prefer a natural winger, so need to sacrifice one or other of them.
