Football doesn’t allow you to pick and choose

339

Europe?  A week ago I was all for it; there has been a lot of learning since.  We are not ready to make an impact on the latter stages of the Conference League or any other Uefa competition.  For me, the focus of this week is all about Easter Road on Sunday.  Football, however, does not allow you to pick and choose.

If Ange rested much of his first team against Bodo/Glimt tomorrow and suffered an even worse result than in the first leg, a new avenue of consequences would open up.  You cannot prepare property for an important game by losing a few days earlier.

Celtic must go out in the frozen north and give a professional performance, preparations for Easter Road will wait a few days.

  1. OK then , I’ll indulge.

Tell this Celtic supporter who is worried about his state pension, just who will pay it in an ” independent ” Scotland.

Because the nationalist politicians don’t seem to know and the Greens want to means test it. ?

So wherever you lived in Scotland voting Labour helped elect a Labour MSP.

Who voted to repeal the SNP’s Offensive Behaviour at Football and Threatening Communications (Scotland) Act 2012.

So you could have done your bit to ensure the Act was repealed.

    But you didn’t.

As I said, your choice, Live with it.

Why are you posting that on a Celtic blog, have you nothing political to say😱😵😂

  6. No need to worry as long as the butcher’s apron gang have their way we’ll forever be stuck in a “union” with the tories in government. That’s definitely the reason why we should never vote for change ,don’t upset the status quo. Forelock tugging CSC.

Ernie you are a fraud, grandstanding hypocrite, you have done zero in the fight against the OBFA you voted in England

  8. Did Clancy not deny us two pens last time he took charge of us at Easter Road ? We’ll need to be that bit better with that clown in charge.

Celtic were born out of politics.

Celtic were created from the fallout of the British genocide, not famine, but genocide, inflicted upon the irish people in the 1840’s leading to thousands of refugees sailing across the sea to Glasgow which created the environment from which Celtic fc were born, we have to become a club run by lorry loads of volunteers not rich aloof Irish Tory billionaires, and millionaires, a club with the logistics entrusted to Auldheid & folk of that ilk, and let them plant a new, strong, honest, integral, fearless, tree, that doesn’t bow to oppressors, that cant be bought under the table, but teaches Tims of new and fruitful approaches to life in general, less emphasis on what divides us and more on class, not religion, but class. Why do you think curriculums aren’t class driven?? Why did Mason’s build all the houses of worship, of all religions, splitting society into different religion’s keeping everybody apart?? Do you think that Jesus would’ve wanted us all divided??

Celtic could be the most influential club on the planet, the geniuses are among us, but we’re controlled by billionaires, so were controlled by the WEF, Davos, etc, oh yes we are. Its time to change it.

No mystery, I accept I am not the most regular poster, more a lurker, however, I stopped using the SMSM for my Celtic news and CQN was my favourite place to go.

The difference from my original access to CQN and the ‘political’ posts that now cascade on the CQN site is, for me, disappointing.

Lets keep this cracking site, relevant to Celtic football discussion.

Personally, I have completely bought into Ange’s football philosophy.

There are, and, were posters who have a better way of putting their Celtic related views, whether you agreed or not, on here.

I now check in on a daily basis to check out ‘Celtic News, not lazy journalism’ turns out, it has become more of a political blog, this is not for me.

GREENPINTA, I hope at some time meet up and chew the Celtic fat.

    Take care and keep safe.

Just out of curiosity what makes you think I live in England?

I don’t, but its interesting that you think I do.

    Clear this up easily

Name the Labour MSP and the constituency ? how difficult is that

  14. PB, Its actually a little worrying. Apart from the extremely mixed up conspiracy nonsense how can anyone find the time to type up all that shite everyday?

  15. LIONROARS67 on 23RD FEBRUARY 2022 10:33 PM

Sorry, what exactly is this supposed to clear up?

I voted Labour and that vote helped elect more than one MSP who voted against the legislation thus ensuring the Act was repealed.

You could have done the same, but chose not to. So you contributed nothing to the Act being scrapped. Nothing. Nil. Nada. For all your posturing and bombast.

  16. park the bus 442 on

Why should any Celtic supporter, or anyone else, reveal their jurisdiction to some name on the Internet, like by revealing where they vote??

What if the person doing the asking has access to the voting register for that area??

    What next??

Access to voters addresses then loudmouth those addresses on some blog or in the pub??

    Then what??

Harass the person who lives at that address because you can’t beat the person in a debate on a blog??

    Really??

I’ll take a guess, not in full time employment , if at all, and certainly not the full shilling 😂😂

  18. Ernie lives on Mt Olympus, an unaccountable being deciding the fate of man. Would probably be a good gig apart from the very loud pa playing rocking all over the world on repeat.

Laughable nonsense Ernie never a verifiable fact from you

The OBFA has been your fave political attack vehicle for years on CQN it was all grandstanding by a Labour troll

You did nothing in the fight against OBFA, you stood back and let others do all the hard graft, whilst you used the issue on CQN for years to pursue a political agenda, a political parasite

    The mask slipped tonight Ernie

  20. MPSHANKS on 23RD FEBRUARY 2022 9:33 PM

Jeez. The level of political stuff on here tonight has my head spinning. My scrolling finger has a blister.

Give it a rest. No one – NO ONE – changes views after reading a political post on a football blog, If you must, take it AFF LINE.

Exactly i voted in North Lanarkshire, oh no Kev Jungle will be searching the voter register for lionsroar

  24. LIONROARS67 on 23RD FEBRUARY 2022 10:49 PM

The legislation wasn’t scrapped because you made a banner, or went to a meeting, or had a piss up.

All of which you no doubt enjoyed doing (hard graft??? heavy lifting???).

It was scrapped because MSPs voted for it to be scrapped. You contributed nothing to that.

It is what it is, and you can stamp your foot as much as you like but you can’t change the facts.

  25. I support Celtic

I also have political views .

But I believe this forum is Celtic Quick News ,I would like to stick to that HH
