I thought someone must get it:))
Edouards goal was a thing of beauty.
He showed power and skill at start of move and Paddies vision was brilliant with lay off and Ed showed intelligence to continue movement and finished well.
Brendan will be thrilled with that goal.
Jeezo even the lassie interviewer asking accies manager about broony . He will get done a certainty ,too much made of it .
My God, weren’t Celtic just awesome tonight. Every single player was an absolute star. We had so many great performers tonight. However, I want to give a special shout out to, Jamesie, Odsonne and Calum who were absolutely superb. Patrick Roberts (tee hee hee), he plays for Celtic. He’s a SUPERSTAR. Well done every single player tonight. Brilliant!

The CB issue is not really what will make the difference on Tuesday. It’s how the team protects the box that will limit psg or not as the case may be.
The centre of the park and limiting the wide men is what will be crucial. Broonie will need to be massively disciplined as will Ntcham.
Great win, well done the Bhoys.
Delighted our new bhoy got on the scoresheet. He looks like the business. Reminded me of Alan MacInally for his goal, except with a lot more skill.
Craig – distribution – FFS, how hard can it be? Punting a ball, under no pressure, straight into touch 10 yards off your own goal-line, 2 weeks after the St Johnstone screwup?
Anyway, on to history. PSG is a conglomeration of vastly-overpriced dilettantes, not a football team.
I bet Cavani and Neymar don’t sleep under PSG quilts.
Mon the Celtic – turn them over! Over and Over!
Starry,
Prost! Have to buy you a real one sometime….
im going to be up all night worrying who was at fault for accies goal
or i might not be
i have a feeling petec wont be too concerned about it and he is the night shift maestro
so thats good enough for me
Johhny Hayes ? WHy? Bmoney could have bough t CH pShould have kept Chritie and play Ralston or Calvin Millar or Liam Henderson or anyone
Robertt…..
Very astute point imo.

I agree. Vital that we keep 11 men on the park.
No injuries, i hope, and 3 pooints.. Just what we needed. PR makes a huge difference to the whole team

The goal against tonight highlighted Bittons defensive frailty. It was not directly his fault but he was staring at the corner taker and had no idea of the opposition in box.
He was ball watching and had no clue as to what he was supposed to be marking.
Ballwatching in no mans land as he did in Astana.
He is a liability in central defense.
Four sleeps until Zadok the Priest and a chance to bloody the nose of Europe’s new bad guys!!
I reckon that like man Cty did last year PSG will underestimate us, I have the feeling that we will surprise the footballing world.
Ron67,
anything positive to say about a good win on a plastic pitch ?
A good win for the Bhoys and some fine performances but the defence is a worry for Tuesday the goal we lost was the kind of goal you lose in the pub leagues we could argue all night who was to blame but it was a joke. I dont know how Brendan can fix it I think PSG will exploit it I think Tuesday night may well be a long night. H.H.
Well played Celtic! Sloppy goal to lose at the end but an excellent first half performance and a few cracking goals.
Roll on Tuesday!
Metz 1 -PSG 5.
11 men Metz gave them a game for the best part of 60 minutes.10 men Metz then got to chase shadows.for 30..-PSG are not great defensively but they are Very Very good middle to front..Mbappe is a Rolls Royce of a player.
When Hamilton scored there were four Celtic players ball watching, and a keeper who missed the ball, to single anyone out is pandering to your preferred escapegoat.
It will be sorted.
ROBERTTRESSEL
I agree the crucial area will be the central midfield on tuesday.
I think last season Brendan realised that and hence the reason for signing Ntcham and Kouassi.
Patience and positional awareness are vital at the European level.
Stunning first half from Celts and a fine debut from Odsonne Edouard.
Celtic were majestic with no failures and everybody played their part including the subs. BR has a happy but awesome job on his hands trying to pick a side for Tuesday especially between Armstrong and Ntcham?
Chris Sutton was my type of Celtic player but lets face it ‘calling it as he sees it’ doesn’t always mean he’s right, he doesn’t like Craig Gordon or Nir Bitton and lets us know at every opportunity.
Like Paul Hartley I think BR will play Bitton on Tuesday, he’ll also restore Leigh Griffiths to the starting line up and somebody should have told Super Salary at half time that we don’t do three at the back in Europe despite his brilliant ‘young manager’ insight to our weakness’s Hamilton.
I blame the most vastly overused ‘the budget’ a cliche we’d never heard until old Rangers died, and why did BT Sport not analyse why PSG lost a goal in Bastia.
M.O.M Patrick Roberts

I was really hoping to be in Munich but no can do.
In fact all the away games this year just won’t fit my plans:))
Always next year I guess..

The CB issue is not really what will make the difference on Tuesday. It’s how the team protects the box that will limit psg or not as the case may be.
Thats it don’t play any centre backs and fill the midfield , and by the way great result tonight on a plastic pitch.
Ron67,
aye very good,
every comment you made was critical,
rarely a good word to say about Celtic
Broonies kick out ,on the Accies, player ,shocking, I think he is going to be a liability, this season, Captain or no Captain, he should be on the sub’s bench,
Great result tonight, really looking forward to Tuesday night.
MIT: Invest in an umbrella. Weather forecast not good.
Great personnel management from Brendan.
Reverts to the `60s with , in personnel terms , a 2/3/5.
Gordon
Lustig and Tierney
Brown Simo and Armstrong
Roberts and Forrest , Edouard McGregor and Sinclair
Total football.
another one who never has a good word to say
Don’t take the bait,
Job very very very well done on a poor surface just after the International break.
Delighted big Edouard got off to a scoring start.
Very happy with that tonight, great result and performance. Wee Paddy was in another galaxy in the first half, it was amazing to watch.
Edouard looks like a real talent, early days but he looks the part. Lets see what he is like when he gets up to full speed!
I think we can hazard guess from the substitutions that Armstrong will start on Tuesday in a midfield 3 with Brown and Ntcham. Why else would he have been given a rest?
Corkcelt,
you are right mucker
Starry,
I know what you mean, am unlikely to make the Munich match either, because of work.
Another time, definitely…if you’re passing through Mitteldeutschland give me a bell.

I think his Chris`s reservations about Craig and Nir are justified .
And I`m perfectly happy for him to treat Celtic in the same way he treats other teams .
Many of his previous criticisms , eg. of Ronnie , were proved to be spot on.

I have no idea if you are posting from a phone or a computer, but in all honesty, it really must be a struggle to get your punctuation so fecking wrong, a bit like your idea that Broonie should be left on the bench, jeezo.

I prefer Brendan’s opinion.
