Chris Sutton has irrational dislikes of certain Celtic things , that occasionally will far outweigh his knowledge of how to manage Lincoln never mind Celtic.

It would have been an equaliser, not a winner.
A draw would have made no difference to Hearts finishing position in the league.
The loss of the point would have affected Celtic’s finishing position.
Craig Gordon, to the best of my knowledge, had no history of coming up for corners before or since.
The definite opinion at the time ( I was at the game) was that the intention was to stop Celtic winning the league more than anything else.
