    Hee hee just come and only read this page after an hour on Twitter reading Celtic supporters distancing themselves and our club from the Catholic Church because of a banner at today’s game.

    Was up during the week. Made the mistake of walking through the Shop Centre with a white Easter Lily in my lapel. Had an interesting debate wi two junkie huns who didnae like my sort. Felt like battering the two of them, but felt more sorry for them and walked away.

    Listen you have just proven what I initially thought that you’re a prick that hasn’t a clue. The point that I was making is that when he represents Ireland as he would be doing by playing for the GUI then the flag that is flown is the tricolour. It’s not about the flag that I want him to fly. He chooses to carry a NI flag about with him and in doing So he makes a statement. It was interesting that you chose the Telegraph to back up your point. Let me show you an article in the Record about odour players and Management being thugs and thieves…

     

    You also make a point about players not being fussed about the Olympics. He had agreed to represent the Country that funded him through his Amateur career and withdrew lying about the reason why he withdrew. Yeah thats the mark of a great sportsman.

    The Baillieston CSC had a banner that was half yellow and half white with Baillieston Battalion on it.

     

     

    There’s been a bit of a furore on Twitter about it. Many Celtic supporters saying it’s a disgrace and that we should have nothing to do with the Catholic Church (the colours are the colours of the Vatican flag).

     

     

    I say God Bless the Pope and Brother Walfrid.

    We were founded in a catholic church hall by Catholics, both lay people and clergy.

     

    I dont see why we should be distancing ourselves from our origins.

     

    We can be inclusive without forgetting our roots.

    I went with my ex wife to an REM concert at Balloch Country Park. We were sharing a pungent nice doobie watching Michael Stipe. This Irish guy in front of me, turned round and said”That smells beautiful bro.” I offered him the number and we started talking. His name was Gary, mine Garry. Told me he was lead in a band called Snow Patrol. Got him stoned at REM gig at Balloch. Crackin guy.
