    Nope

That point might win us the league :-)

    Roll on Partick

We can’t change the past but the players can effect their future results

This is how it feels to be Celtic…..

  2. GERRYFAETHEBRIG .remember going to coatbridge baths saturday morning on carmicheals bus. your probably too young to remember bus conductress comes up to see our ticket. we had picked up a used ticket from the floor of the bus she just looked and said okay lad.s had to go to confession the next day though.hh.

  3. Just logged on .

Pleasantly surprised reading back the last page only . Today ain’t about losing 4-0 . It’s about 69 domestic games undefeated . In hindsight ( a wonderful thing ) we might have added steel to the midfield ( Kouassi ) we might have stuck with Ajar . We might have followed Levin ( in desperation ) in giving youth a chance . Its all noise. Nothing else .

Celtic are tired . Mentally & physically tired . One week off, then one week in the Dubai sunshine ,in January , not being assaulted in the name of Scottish sport .

We will come back rejuvenated and motivated .

Every Tim on here has fought their corner against the odds through the years , whether vocally or with their brains or sometimes , where needed , with our fists.

Celtic today. Celtic tomorrow. Celtic forever. HH

  4. Well I certainly enjoyed my night in Edinburgh last night better than we did today:-)) A great run comes to an end,but what a run it was.Thankyou to everyone at our club for that.We start again Wednesday, can’t wait:-)))

Fair enough and maybe that point will be vital at the end of the season!

Cannae see it being that tight though so without being complacent, im not worrying about it(not saying you are)

Would just have preferred to loose to Neil Lennon and Hibs rather than Levien and Hearts :(

  7. great run had to come to an end( not 4-0 ).anyway hearts deserved the win for sure.

i dont know how bad our back four is( passing from db and jozo is pretty bad )

but they are on there own no help from ss. cmc. or jf. midfield cant defend or tackle( brown the exception )

looking forward to next four games.sleeves rolled up and get into them.

Really strange you mention the “baths” over the street this morning with MissGFTB getting her mums Christmas present and was telling her that Buchanan House (its now the doctors, library and council tax building) was where the swimming baths were, she didn’t believe me as she has only ever known the fancy Tine Capsule :-)

hope the throw the ball away knobs are in the crowd

  10. 16 roads - Celtic über alles... on

Hearing people saying that Brendan needs time to build his own team, Sinclair and Ntcham only two of the starting eleven signed by BR.

Only thing is Brendan has signed other players but won’t start them for whatever reason – possibly said players are projects and this policy is a symptom of the environment we find ourselves in.

Ah well, disappointing today however I appreciate the manager and the players for the unprecedented run of undefeated games.

They have made history, and achieved a remarkable feat that will never be seen again.

Thanks goes to them and God bless them all.

    History makers magic.

  12. A people and a cause on

So the run has come to an end as I suppose it was bound to this month after Fir Park and Easter Road

A fantastic run from the squad and the back room staff something we will never forget

Now to push on again on Wednesday with the players having a point to prove

Watching young Harry Cochrane in the aftermatch interview reminded when Kieran was first interviewed, if young Cochrane can win half as many trophies as Kieran he will do well, remembering Kieran has plenty before he has hit the big 20 :-)

Will post it again, Hearts were really good today, the top 6 could be a great tussle

Just a pity that it was the Minis who did the deed!

Crossed my mind last week that if we had lost our unbeaten record to NFL’s Hibs, then he would take the scalp and we would have ’67’ carved into our mythology yet again …

    … so it’s all Lustig’s fault then …..

  15. Big Georges Fan Club - Hail, Hail, Wee Oscar on

GERRYFAETHEBRIG – yup – went there in the 80’s with St Margaret’s school swimming club every Wed evening (building next door was Electricity Board I think). Then accross the road for a bag of chips and two pickled onions – magic :-)). I think that was just around the time our unbeaten run started…

    16roads 7.23pm

    Wise words :-)

I think most if not all Celtic fans appreciate the unbeaten run, sometimes these youngsters need to realise Celtic don’t always not get beat :-)

  17. Gerryfaethebrig on

    Big George 7.36pm

If you went across the road for chips it would have been “Sandro’s” still going strong, hope thee wee mhan wasn’t too dismayed today he is following us in very good times (with your help of course :-)

  18. BIG GEORGES FAN CLUB – HAIL, HAIL, WEE OSCAR yes always a pickled onion with your chips. but do you remember when you said steak pie and chips. they would put the pie into the fat luvelly grub hh.

  19. Gerryfaethebrig on

    First thing on the “Scottish”

News …. Celtics unbeaten record is now over …….

    Ha ha ha ha ha

They then move on to the actual news

Their pain will never end :-)

  20. Thank you Celtic for a wonderful run that was going to end sometime.

    as someone said earlier

Celtic yesterday Celtic today and Celtic tomorrow

  21. GERRYFAETHEBRIG im on a roll here .as you come into the brigg from glenboig just before the fountain .a left turn up the hill the 3rd coatbridge boy scouts because in lanarkshire at the time catholic. cubs/ boy scouts. other denominations the boys brigade.

  22. Lots of people blaming tiredness for todays pasting- we havent played well with any consistency at all this season. I cant think of three games in a row where we reached last seasons levels.

  23. Gerryfaethebrig on

    Big Packy

Coming from glenboig coming towards the fountain take a left then you are in my scheme :-)

Too busy playing fitba as a kid to join the cubs/scouts and all that stuff, got binned as an altar Bhoy as I wouldn’t replace my Adidas kick with those dodgy black gutties :-)

  24. prestonpans bhoys on

Watch sportscene there, good grief those defensive errors were brutal, play that way and you would get beat from a pub team, very disappointing…….

  25. Gerryfaethebrig on

    Leftclicktic

The grub is no bad in there, young nephew textd me yesterday as he was in the bar with his pals but I prefer it when Celtic are playing, not sure how it was today but definitely good place to watch the hoops (not bad for getting married in as well :-)

  26. Of course this is Brendan’s first ever domestic defeat since he became our manager – wonder how he’s feeling

proud of the record, disappointed with the result , angry with the performance, relieved in a way ?????

  27. GERRYFAETHEBRIG. my grandad had greyhounds .and if my memory is right top of the hill used to be clifton high school. and there was a vets across the road.
