HENRY SHINES AS SEVILLA JOIN CHASE

CELTIC target Henry Onyekuru has gone from zero to hero at Belgian outfit KAS Eupen.

The 19-year-old Nigerian striker snatched the only goal of the game to give the struggling Jupiter First Division side victory at Gent.

Onyekuru, who went on a one-man strike and missed three first team games after his club blocked a £1million move to the Hoops last month, claimed the winner six minutes into stoppage time.

The left-sided attacker was on from the start and his last-gasp effort lifted his team to fourth-bottom of the table.

They have 24 points from 26 games are ahead of Waasland-Beveren on goal difference.

Onyekuru made his peace with the club at the start of the month when they promised to allow him to move to a team of his choice in the summer.

Brendan Rodgers is continuing to monitor the player’s progress and remains favourite to sign the player when he leaves the Belgian strugglers in the summer.

So, too, are Sevilla while Liverpool have also been credited with an interest.

The Spanish club are scouring the market for the best young talent in a bid to restructure in the summer and Onyekuru has joined their list of targets.
