great performance given the injury situ – brown was immense and my MOTM . My only gripe is the right back position – Lustig legs have gone and I’d rather have the pace of Toljan . I’m worried Lennon sees Lustig as first choice. secondly, would have liked more subs to rotate the team
Happy Birthday to the legend that is King Billy McNeill. Unfortunately Cesar is not in the best of health but he is a wonderful individual.
Great result tonight and a steady performance.

I can’t believe how well NB has slotted back in. A huge week for lennie and the team- I like d his handling of toljan – he’s had a difficult couple of games recently and was risking over exposing himself.

Fitting that James Forrest scores the winner on Lenny’s return tae Easter Road since it was he who gave him his opportunity after working with him in the youths.
A wee bit of deja vu there with “We Love You Celtic”, first aired in 1964 as a result of an American song called “We Love You Beatles” which in itself was a take off of “We Love You Conrad” from the 1960 Broadway stage musical “Bye Bye Birdie”. The good ones never go away.
2 great goals and we move on in the cup to a semi at Hampden
Plenty of nominations for Scapegoat of the Match- one of the regular nominees even scored a beauty.
The bottle throwing stuff is frightening serious damage will be done to a player if this keeps up. Just after we got rid of the stupid OBaF Act, we are about to supply the ammunition for an equally stupid Strict Liability Act. There must be someone within the Green Brigade that can stand up to the self-indulgence.
Great work by Neil, John Kennedy and Scott Brown to settle our troops in an unsettling week
I don’t think the guy who moved south ever won at Easter Rd.
Well done Neil and the Boys

Read twice this week in the press people equating getting rid of the OBaF with crowd issues, and spun it that the police and SNP back it so need it brought back in.

Well done again bhoys, Ollie was class too, chuffed for NFL, no drama, just a good win.
Scott brown MOTM for me again, he has also scored some crucial goals lately.
Just a wee recap to the ones who wanted him gone not so long ago.

Sadly Broonie is in the twilight of his career and should be allowed to head off to an Australian sunset.

Thanks for your ongoing efforts on behalf of your fellow Tims.
The SNP are smarting from the defeat of OBaF- our supporter behaviour in Scotland is pretty good when compared to other countries. Let’s keep it that way and give those seeking revenge on us, any easy excuses.
It’s no use me calling on Hibs to improve their lot. We can only concentrate on our own

Great victory. Fabulous finishes by Forrest and Broonie. And some lovely football played despite the weather and the pitch.
The balance between playing from the back and being safe was maybe on the safe side but no harm in that.
Referee. Shocking. Even before the trip on Burke there were many incidents of questionable decisions all going against us. And once we were 2-0 up he allowed thuggery to be committed without producing the appropriate cards.

Saw Lenny ” gesturing ” towards the end of the first half which brought Jamesie more centrally and Ollie to the right in response to the lack of success of SS who never hides .
Aaaah. The revolutionary days of Jock swapping wingers.

No midweek games for a wee while now so mibbe a chance to get ghuys fit.
Well done Celts and Lenny!
Well, I wanted a drama free 2-0 and that’s pretty much what we got. Brilliant
2 tough games negotiated in quick succession.
Worth remembering our previous manager didn’t have a great record in Edinburgh.
Great way to end a strange week.
Great result especially on a heavy pitch against a well organised & motivated Hibs.
Have a rest day tomorrow bhoys. You all deserve it.
Now Aberdeen, you know what you have to do.

Cheers, i will now.
First free week since break, hopefully, Ollie is ok.

Rangers de facto decide what refs. they get.
Scandalous.
Great result. Great great goals. Thank you, Celtic.
Class showed in the end better decision making and finishing we’d have been more comfortable earlier.
Pitch really bad, referee a complete cheating wee rat. The trip on Bourke not given with a clear view of it, soul seller.
Scotty Sinclair why on so many occasions did he not take Grey on?
Many happy returns to the Celtic great Billy McNeill!
