    I agree about Neil getting it on a permanent basis now. I didn’t want Neil to be put through what he went through before, he knows the score and is wanting to do it. That Bhoy has the Heart of a Lion.

    Everything is stacked against Celtic. I could go on for months about this past week alone.

    The utter cheating of Motherwell and their Manager.

     

     

    There were many things i noticed in the Jonny Adair video i watched. He, IMO, wants to transpose the hatred and conflict to Scotland – forked Tongue. He is arrogant like I have never seen – it was telling that a Catholic saved his Life.

     

     

    The way the Security Forces have handled him is telling.

    Have to say I’m not as optimistic after that performance as many on here. I thought it was quite pedestrian and back to th horseshoe passing. Brown and Bitton in the same lineup is always a struggle if your forward players are a bit off… We relied on a solo goal before they had to open up which let Brown in.

     

     

    Need players who can pass and received between the lines and players willing to make forward runs with and without the ball.

    Bhoys a great week in the end. The Celtic rollercoaster is still on the tracks. A couple of great wins at difficult venues have set us up nicely for the business end of the season.

    You said clear, simple criterion, touches arm or hand penalise.

     

     

    I’ll give you a few scenarios why that wouldn’t work and would be ludicrous.

     

     

    Forward gets ball just inside box, one defender closes down the other defender just behind on the cover. The forward shapes to cross or shoot then switches back to other foot, the 1st defender slips while turning quickly(happens all the time) now under your new rules i don’t even have to try and score, all I have to do is knock it against his arm whilst on ground and I have a penalty. Much easier than trying to beat the second defender and try and score.

     

     

    Centre forward middle of goal 12 yards out he gets floated cross, no pace on ball, realises he can’t score decides just to head ball directly at defenders arm from a yard defender cant get out of way. Under your rules penalty.

     

    As I say farcical, it would lead to attackers trying to win penalties which would be much easier than trying to score, you would be effectively removing the skill from the game.

    Garry End Times – the hater wants us to hate.

     

     

    Aidan when i spoke to him on the phone – he was angry and called Brendan a snake. Aidan doesn’t get angry. He did – he is young.

     

     

    The NFL – funny as I have been watching College Basketball because of Aidan – I joined the Dumbarton Dodgers because I love Sport.

     

     

    Unforgivable Brendan didnae say Cheerio to the Bhoys, the players IMO.

    That`s just one scenario you refer to .Not two .

     

    ie The deliberate attempt by an attacker to direct the ball to the arm or hand of an opponent.

     

     

    Would result in the attempt by a defender to keep his arm / hand out of the line of ball strike .

     

    Which players do already.

     

     

    I think that would introduce a skill to the game , rather than taking a skill out.

     

    On the part of both the defender and the attacker .

     

     

    And the result is clear cut and unarguable .

     

    Not left to the discretion of the ref.

     

     

    The alternative ; The ref. attempts to read the player`s mind. Intentional or unintentional ?

     

     

    The advantage ? No judgement required on the part of the ref.

     

    Fewer ” honest ” mistakes.
