What’s a polite way of saying your post is nonsense?? ;o)

    which one though ? -)

  2. Not surprised by today. Our best player on the bench. Frimpong and Bitton in defence, we are a shambles.

Being saying since Ferencvaros, that manager should be sacked.

    League is lost under Lennon

  3. our standards have dropped – from the start of the season we accepted players who didn’t want to be there – we should have been ruthless and showed no nonsense intent for the 10 . The board have provided the funds but we have wasted it !

  4. PeterLatchfordsBelly on

Players have downed tools. Case in point. Even after we equalised out of nowhere Hibs missed a sitter. CalMac watches a guy stroll past him at the edge of the box, free shot, no effort. None. Nada. From a guy that’s been a model professional his whole career.

    Total failure of leadership.

    Garbage.

  5. Laughing at the comments on here to the effect that there are people ‘defending Lennon, expecting sevco to implode etc

I am reading the blog and it is almost universally not that at all. Mostly guys saying time for nfl to go or questioning whether that will achieve what is required. Universally fed up with the way things are going at the club.

I don’t see anyone defending the way things are.

For me, what is needed is a change. If that is a new manager and we have one lined up who can come in and make an immediate impact, great. If we don’t then it has to come from within (I know i know!)

The worst thing we could potentially do is give JK a caretaker role a la g murty while we sort our sh1t out. Seamless transition or none. Full stop.

I don’t know if NFL can galvanise the squad, organise them better and turn things around. My feeling us he can’t at this stage. But if we are going to ditch him then it needs to be done without any hitch and with clear and obvious upgrade in the dugout. No easy feat

A fiver- I think you’re missing the sarcasm in my post

    Time for Lennon to GTF.

This from a guy who barely a fortnight ago Insisted he would support the manager come what may!

  8. Its a horror show in our quest for 10.

3rd choice keeper, Midfielder in middle of defence, Two wingers playing in a back 4.

Who would have thought that would be the foundations for our historic year

  9. onenightinlisbon on

Would like to hear from all of the “true” supporters who call anyone who dare criticise Lennon Pantywetters, Sleekits, Chumps, Huns, Mineshafters. I’m waiting…..

  10. I’m afraid, much like his team, I’ve no defence for Neil Lennon.

Our lethargy, shape and substitutions are awful.

  11. RT,

that is what my point is, who is the coach that comes in and wins us the league, who is it ,

    Bring back Ronnie ?

When Celtic play I support them and always have doesn’t mean to say I have to have blind faith like you pal.

  13. It’s the huns league to lose. They are a minimum of 5 pts clear and 13 goals better off. Most seasons, the team with the superior goal difference wins the league. They are winning most games with ease. Don’t see any implosion awaiting them anytime soon.

Quadruple treble is likely to be our season’s highlight. If we get it, the magnificent, unprecedented achievement is going to be overshadowed by the league form.

  14. Fairhill Bhoy! Still hard m8!! But it’s brought us as a family getting closer! Hopefully you are as good as can be as well! Thanks for asking!

  15. PeterLatchfordsBelly on

The interests of Lennon, Brown and Lawwell are being put first.

Don’t see how we won the league from here.

Yet again we give an effectively insolvent (The) Rangers a financial lifeline.

You’ve got to ask why it keeps happening under the same club leadership.

  16. I suspect a new gaffer isn’t turning this round. Our effort and attitudes are horrible. Disgraceful in point of fact. That said, Lennon still has to go, and now.

all you see are Celtic Supporters with blind faith in Neil Lennon – wake up and smell the coffee – none of us are happy – and when Celtic lose I don’t have any pals pal.

  18. SAINT STIVS on 21ST NOVEMBER 2020 5:18 PM

I don’t think saying “who would you bring in?” is ever an argument for keeping the status quo.

We’re not paid big money to make the decisions. I wouldn’t have said Brendan Rodgers (as I didn’t think he’d be attainable) and what a wonderful surprise that proved to be.

All managerial appointments are a risk – the next one could well be a disaster. However, as much as I love Lennon, sentiment doesn’t tump the club. This stint is dying a slow death and needs to be put out of its misery before it gets more toxic and more humiliating on the field.

A new manager might not win the ten. This one almost certainly won’t.

  19. PeterLatchfordsBelly on

Lennon gaslighting us with his post-match comments again. Black is white. Or at least something that rhymes with white.

  20. Lennon saying players are lazy and may have lost some hunger. That should motivate them for the next game. I think he has lost the plot.

  21. Haven’t seen anything of the game so can’t really comment but just listened to our manager’s interview on Radio Scotland. Blames the players. No sense that he might have some responsibility.

  22. Did anyone else notice nearly an extra minute of extra time.

Then whistle blows as soon as Hibs fail to score from the corner kick.

    Subtle or what.

    ———-

I think NFL’s time is up unfortunately and I would let him go now and give JK the role as caretaker, next managerial appointment needs to be made after PL has left the building

    Sad times

  24. I’m so disappointed with my team i love with a passion that I’m going to call Alex Rae and Hugh keevins and try and convince him them team are shit and my manager is clueless.

What the actual F*** posses these people.

    —–

Just a symptom of the sentimentality and complacency that has gripped the club since the start of the season. Have refused belligerently to accept what their eyes have seen this season. They are now as naked as the proverbial emperor. Last seen kicking cans down the road…

    HH

  26. Get a new manager in and start building for next season. Don’t think anyone can turn this around now. Certainly not Lennon

  27. not to worry we still have the euro’s to look forward to and we can watch our star players doing their bes.

  28. When we won the league in 97/98, yeah that one remember, at the 13 game mark we only had 25 points, and were 5 behind hearts.

We had lost 4 games in that 13.

    Keep the faith.

  29. Lennon asking the players to look at themselves and using the adjective “lazy” again.

Is he admitting that they’re not giving his all for him?

If that’s the case and he really loves the club, he should walk. The players won’t be going so another option needs to be taken.
