I’m not sure – but I’m absolutely certain that coming on here and deliberately provoking posters who have previous for standing by our manager is not the answer, petrol on the fire comes to mind.
If NL is going then perhaps if we had conduct interviews from the CVs submitted we would have an idea of who is available who has the right skill set and recruit but we didnt do that did we we appointed NL in the showers at Hampden, I cannot believe how amateur that is and it does not give the impression of a professional board doing things properly after diligence interviews and appropriate decision making.
Lawwell should also be sacked.

BR whom many here have no time for won everything in front of him, took the club and squad to a new level, he expected backing to go another level but PL didn’t think we needed it
Not enough ambition for BR so he walked most probably because he was made promises he would be backed
Now the Huns throwing everything including the kitchen sink at it we have a challenge born out of complacency and nothing other than PL going will fix it

Jack Ross
Theres a few

I had a wee wry smile to myself yesterday, as I looked back at all the Celtic XMAS adverts.

absolutely shambolic today , where do you start , our captain more concerned about saving face and playing the tuff guy when the Hibs player brushed against him and he decided to barge into him only thinking of his pride other than the consequences and the team.
add Rogic , Elyonoussi , Frimpong ( never a defender) Ajeti (we should have spent the money and got Tonev)
who can’t play the lone striker role , and every shot from outside the box straight at their goalie as Christie did midweek without any success , most of our players couldn’t trap a bag of cement never mind a football , did we have on football boots today without studs as I’ve never seen as many players falling over , we are a mess and most are in denial if they think we can win 10 with this set-up.
Would any of the candidates who applied last time, and were not even considered (according to our chief exec) be interested this time round?

Pochettino is not a credible suggestion. He’s holding out for PSG or Manchester United….he’s also been linked with Real Madrid.
I love Celtic as much as the next man but our club, the 10 or the SPFL holds absolutely no water for people of Pochettino’s stature.

Time and time and time again today frimpong was picking the ball up on the halfway line – is the fastest player on our books – he should be receiving passes 30yards from goal and instructed to get to the line directly or through midfield exchange. instead , he plays the game on the back foot and exposed to his biggest weakness.
I’d get Brown out and Biton into midfield – he passes , he has physicality and it frees up mcgregor to get up supporting the front line (of 2 strikers)

I think the plan was, walk the the 10, PL and Lenny retire, backslapping all round. You get the impression that no one at the club thought for a second we wouldn’t walk the league.
Even after poor result after poor result, the noises from the club (and some on here, and still on here today) is that everything is okay.
PL and Lenny will both be remembered at those that lost the 10
I assume these players who have lost their hunger and are lazy burst a gut every day in training and convince the coaches and manager to pick them every week?

As I have said a million times on here, the board won’t shed any tears if we don’t get the ten. Huns are a necessary evil for the return of the “old firm” cash. Lawwell and Desmond are not supporters, sometimes we forget that fact.

Not sure what you have been drinking but Martin O’Neil should not be anywhere near the current Celtic team.
He is a legend but even more out of date than Lennon.
I can’t really fathom why some people think emotional attachment to players or managers is what wins games. Each have a job to do and once they can no longer do that , it should be thank you very much but for the sake of the club we need to move on.
[We may even think of building a statue for you if deserved, but being a Celtic man is all the more reason why you should not hold the club back.]
