Sorry pal, feeling bad now as I only meant it as a wee joke.
Well played the bhoys. It is another great day to be a Celt.
Old joke time.
Patient: Doctor, my arm hurts when I do this (raising his arm above his head)
Doctor: Well don’t do that then!
To anyone frustrated by TV punditry – your remote has a button with a picture of a speaker with a cross through it. Give it a try.
Or rewind and watch the last five minutes again until Brendan’s interview begins.
PS – well done the SFA. Your ability to develop officials, organise an event, and generate maximum revenue for four of your members was clear to see today.
Hail hail
DD…I believe everything will done to prevent Well getting to the final…
Back to basics….have you ever tried listening to the radio after pressing the button with a picture of a speaker with a cross through it? Not ideal… :-)
WBC
I like their manager. I think they are a better footballing team than the tribute act. My money is safe. :))
I just wonder what Brendan Rodgers could do with that Hibs team.
Timgreen
I’m laughing anyway.
Only back on here as wife insisted I was making tea.
I will have a nap afterwards.
DD…if they play like they did against the sheep in the previous round they have a chance…and yes, I like their manager too…
When is the final?
Thought Calmac was brilliant today mom for me HH
WEEBOBBYCOLLINS –

Daughter number 2 has just seen a video of me dancing about Marienplatz Munich. You looked very happy da, were her words. :))
So Swally reckons Sinclair was offisde for our 4th as “he went to play the ball” – Wrong !!
A player in an offside position is only penalised if, at the moment the ball touches or is played by one of his team, he is involved in active play by:
o interfering with play
– i.e. playing a ball passed by a team mate
o interfering with an opponent
– preventing an opponent playing the ball, or distracting an opponent
o gaining an advantage by being in that position
– i.e. playing ball rebounding off woodwork or opponent
None of these applied to Sinclair so – not offside

EMBRAMIKE SAYS ” YER TEAM’S DEID…BEAT IT!” on 21ST OCTOBER 2017 3:11 PM
The argument is that he is interfering with play because the keeper (who doesn’t know he’s in an offside position) has to keep an eye on him and is therefore distracted by him.
The problem is that the Laws of the Game so far as i know don’t explicitly state that mere presence does not amount to interfering with play.
Brilliant Celtic.
Hibs showed great spirit and I hope they get 2nd or at worst 3rd.
Aberdeen will likely hold off the Hibs challenge this Season, no chance next Season. Glasgow and Edinburgh will be Green and White.
A great response from Celtic today after one of the toughest games ever.
I was expecting us to be below our best today after a hard midweek but we actually had more of a grip on the game than I hoped for against a spirited Hibs.
Broony, Boyata and Mikel impressed, as did Moussa, who maybe deserves a start or two.
Armstrong struggling to find his earlier form, but a big concern for me is Craig Gordons kicking. One dreadful pass in the second half forced Broony into a challenge which could easily have got him sent off.
As for the officials, Clancy is incompetent or a cheat……take your pick. Linesman just as bad….had the clearest view in the ground of Dedryck winning the ball but went ahead and let Clancy make the call. You would almost think it had been discussed before the game….!!
Good to hear Chris Sutton giving his opinion on the state of refereeing in Scotland, and Hibs dog in the manger attitude that denied Celtic fans the chance of going to the game.

Alan Burrows, CEO of Motherwell, on Clyde says, ” I went over to Europe for an ECA meeting with Peter Lawwell and ‘the people from rangers’…Peter told me…blah, blah, blah…it was the best piece of advice I’ve ever had in football.” Alan is a decent guy…I do hope they win tomorrow

Sorry Ernie but Law 11 is fairly clear (below). Sinclair was 25 yards away from keeper – would have to be directly in front of him to interfere.
As an ex ref, it’s frustrating to hear ex managers and players (and others) get the current Laws so wrong and say they are confusing when they are not really. Doesn’t stop referees making bad calls though as with Hibs penalty – linesman gave that as ref didn’t have a good view and ref went to confirm. And the official signal for a penalty from an assistant is to run directly to the corner flag, not to raise flag.Still a wrong call either way.

What date is the final??
Delanys… If you were impressed with the lovely lassies in Munich… Wait til we have a game in Stockholm..
Smiley eurovisionist thing ..
Braw.
First up, that was a great game, and a really good advert for Scoddish football.
I thought we played it brilliantly. BR clearly had the players playing within themselves, and if it hadnt been for the Honest Mistake, the game would’ve petered out 2-0 to us.
But when the officials did strike, Brendan was ready. Moussa, Tom, and James opened up the play, and gave Hibs much more to think about. I don’t have a lot of time for Hibs, but because of Stokesy and Neil Francis, I really hope they get second.
Our best players were Lustig, Kieran, Broon, Dedryck, and Moussa. Paddy, Leigh, Stuart all looked tired, as did Scotty. Craig Gordon needs to work on his distribution. at 1-2 there were a couple of shocking passes played by him which could have cost us.
Finally, how inept do you have to be to have one third of the stadium empty, when you could have filled it one and half times over? In England heads would role over fiascos like this, but up here we shrug our shoulders. Credit to BTSports for highlighting it.
Given the semi gates are split 4 ways, I only hope that lost £70k doesn’t turn out to be crucial to any of the other semi-finalists…
NB
Ye canny beat a Gdansk beauty. Forza Polska.
Robert Lewandowski will win us the World Cup in Moscow next year.
Dobra
In the old days it would have been flagged offside.
tontinetim
fgb??
Well played Celtic.
It’s always difficult after a Champions league game.
Decision for penalty, simply awful.
I think its fair to say that Stubbs is as much as a Celtic man as Walker.
Sutton calling it out, he seems to be the only one to me. Harrison not to clever with his comments about the “pen”either.
Hail Hail
