We’ll done on your first win Ange. Contrast with the abysmal performances away at Kaunas and Sarajevo under Lennon last season.
Ange-ball is very entertaining. We should have scored 7. Defence is woeful though and unless they fix it we’ll get absolutely humped at Ibrox. Seen Celtic teams like this before. Lots of flair, but soft underbelly.
McCarthy will make a difference and we need Bitton out the centre defence and a couple of new full backs. I like Ralston. If every player had his attitude we’d have won the 10, but he’s limited, technically.

A win away from home in Europe, so I’ll take that. And the result, if not the overall performance, puts us in the driving seat for the home game next week. Not sure about the strip, make us looks a bit like Dunfermline, but not play like Jock Stein’s Dunfermline in Europe back in the day. Work to do.

hartson is absolutely spot on with his assessment – we can score all the goals in the world but if we don’t defend , we will win nothing this season. Confidence will soon affect the strikers and too much burden on them.
Welsh had a good pre season and would be better than biton who is way to casual.
He is a passer and that probably why he got the nod – BOARD we need defenders in ASAP
The big Japanese lad would help Kyogo and has an areal presence about him and plenty of pace. Cahill is dominant and can defend. Then fullbacks please !
BUT we all know what happens – we get 1 or 2 more but never ever enough – never is with celtic !
