As always, it’s important to get the players you want, not end up with fourth or fifth choice, so on that measure, I’m happy Ronny Deila has secured a player he knows well. Jo Inge Berget is a wide attacking player, who will fit into the manager’s high-tempo, pressing, style of play.
The deal, a loan which gives Celtic the option to sign the player permanently if he’s successful, places incentives in the right places.

I really dont want to go on this crusade again so this is my last word on it.
I see multiple posters as being agitators.

If there are any positive reasons for having and tolerating multiple posters then I am all ears ? convince me what do they bring to the blog.
Technically everybody uses a unique network address for their internet sessions its called their i.p address. It is unique enough to be easily traced and analysed within a certain time frame. This is what you can call the source address. Free tools can analyse and report on this in real time. Paul67 may not have this level of access on the server to perform these duties. It might cost to ask the provider of the blog that Paul67 uses to run this service
More simple but less reliable methods would be to see who is using the same email address under different blog names.
Another way is to crank up Hobby Tony V1.0 which reads every page and deposits each post into a database as a record. The record being Timestamp, User, Usernames within Comments, Comment, thread and tag and then use simple sql statements to analyse the data for trends.
I.e who is agitating against the blog when Celtic have lost

Thanks for sharing the vid. I don’t know much about him but from those clips it looks like he does his best work in either attacking mid (cover for Commons) or left forward (competition for Derk) positions. We needed more numbers for both anyway.
I think every Celtic manager has an old colleague who they want to sign. O’Neill had Guppy and Lennon, Strachan brought in Telfer and Lennon signed Wilson. Most weren’t big names but they did a good job.

Jo Inge Berget — now that is an interesting one and certainly someone that the media did not foresee or seemingly know anything about.
A couple of things strike me.
1. Ronny knows this guy and one would have to presume that he was Ronnie’s choice — not John Park’s, Peter Lawell’s or the man at the bank’s or whoevers.
That would seem to suggest that Ronnie has a say in what is going on at least.
2. He has come from Cardiff City to us — not gone from Celtic to Cardiff City.
So — I wonder what his wages were at Cardiff?
Has he taken a drop to come to us and, if so, why did he do that?
Is it because he fancies European Football, Is it because he rates the manager ( he obviously knows his methods ) or is it because whatever is on offer from Celtic is seemingly more attractive than what is on offer at Cardiff from the EPL?
He won a league title at Molde and scored 17 goals in 63 appearances though under Ole Gunnar at Cardiff he played just once since his move in Jan 2014.

I agree with you mate.
Here is a serious question, not just to you but everybody. Most of us, myself at times included criticise the Clubs ambition and slate a Player before the ink is dry on his Contract. I have to say in most instances the criticism is merited. However, there are instances where things have worked out. I’ll not list the bad and good investments but we know who they were and are.
My question and I am not criticising any of you as you are all Supporters and entitled to your opinion; what would it take for your ambition to be met by the Board i.e. How much would you expect them to spend and more importantly what class of Player would you expect them to sign?
A wee extra one, the Board matches your figure to spend on a Player(s) and the selling Club agree to the move and we match the Player(s) wage demand, how does CFC persuade me to come and play in the SPFL?

Being a ST holder in the Main Stand, I can assure most on here, the majority of the support there have never heard of CQN. I thank God for that, if they all thought the way this blog thinks, we would not have a stadium or a Club to follow. This blog had myself questioning if it was worth supporting my first love, after my family, and I realised most of the negatonians on this blog contribute zero to Celtic. Celtic will always get my support as long as I can afford to do so, the unpaying negatonians, can GTF. At least I’ve proved I attend CP, can all the so called experts do so also? Doubt it. They can scream they are ST holders, I’ve proved it, you do to. Sick of the crap that comes on here when we have one of the most successful football clubs in the UK, if not Europe. Of course I mean financially. Get a life some of you.

I saw Winning Captain attracting some comments when he said he was able to pinpoint various posters’ servers. He was cracking jokes about what the guys were up to and led to a “Big Brother” debate for a while.
Your concerns are more serious and I agree with you. Honest debate is good, healthy and enjoyable. Trolling does undermine the blog and distracts honest posters. I don’t like others who use the blog to constantly promote a narrow non Celtic related agenda.
Where does Paul draw the line? Free speech and all that.

Totally agree, we normally get 21 games, 19 in the League and two others. Given we have been decanted to Murrayfield I would have encouraged supporters to get along by giving us the 2 games in Edinburgh.
